Help!! I haven't been on DIS in a while so please excuse me if this has been discussed ad nauseum but ---

We have a DVC reservation checking in 9/27. Today is 63 days prior to our reservation.

After linking our tix to each person in the room, I go to the FP+ selection part of the website and it allows me to choose FPs only 30 days out (ie I can only see dates out to August 25).

I understand that I can't choose FPs today, but I just thought I could at least see the dates available 60 days from now (similar to the dining website).

Web Tech tells me that magically on day 60, the calendar will open up. This doesn't sound right to me and I'm not that confident with Disney's website since it's so glitchy.

Does anyone know the "right" answer in terms of what I'm supposed to be able to see as of right now for a 9/27 check-in? Thanks!

Yup, it'll open up to 60 days when you're at your 60 day mark. It shows you the next 30 days from today in case you're visiting before your resort stay.

What they told you is correct. 60 days will open on 7/29. You are not entitled to 60 days until then. Say for example you were staying offsite for a couple days before your Disney reservation, if they opened it up early you could book those days.

Midnight to 1:00am eastern. Reports are sometimes it doesn't open until 1:00am.

Wow Debbie, I had no idea that it would vary. Guess I gotta click refresh over and over for those A&E fps for my daughter.

Thanks for the help!

This is good to know...... we also arrive at SSR on September 27th.

Thanks for asking, lilpooh108! :cool1:

Also make sure that your DVC reservation is appearing within the MDE app before your sixty day window hits.

I always have to manually link my DVC reservation confirmation codes to MDE. As soon as I input that confirmation code, things then work seamlessly. But I know this happens for several other DVC members as well. So make sure MDE "knows about" your DVC reservation.

In other words, click the "my reservations" tab within MDE, and if you don't see your DVC room there, click "link a Disney resort reservation" and follow the instructions.

Just another question here. When your 60 day window opens how many days can you book your FP for. I know for dining they have the + 10, but what about FP if you're there longer then 10 days?

By the way, I always have to manually link my dvc reservations to my account

From the FAQ for My Magic+
The total number of FastPass+ experiences available to you during your visit depends on several factors including availability and the vacation packages and tickets linked to your Disney account. Generally, Guests are able to select one set of FastPass+ experiences each day for every valid theme park ticket linked to their account.

Depending on availability, you should be able to make up to 3 FastPass+ selections for attractions and entertainment each day at one theme park. You can choose your FastPass+ experiences up to 30 days in advance of each day of your theme park visit. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of your stay.

So it appears that it for length of stay if your tickets match. So if you by a 10 day park hopper and are staying 12 nights, you are limited to 10 days. But if you have an annual pass you can make FP+ for all 12 days.

I had this problem this year, and last year (Dec) during the "testing phase."

My biggest issue with the whole DVC v WDW website thing was this --- depending on how MS put in our names, it sometimes matched the profiles already set up in the WDW website. Most of the time it did not. So I have always had to call DVC to change the names and then call the WDW IT to fix the bugs.

This year, I did not link our new tickets until the profile was set up correctly. Otherwise it was a PITA. Hope this makes sense.

You get to reserve up to 10 days depending on your stay.

But I have a split stay: 1 day, then 7 days. I noticed that on the 60th day for 1st reservation the FP+ window opened up for me. I'm not sure what happens to resort people, but I thought this was interesting for a DVC stay.

Thanks for the info. Yes we have an AP. We are there 15 days

From my experience, if you want A&E FP, the first thing to do is to start at the last day and work your way back. They go very quickly and if you head to the last MK day you have planned vs going to the first day, you will have better odds of getting them. My window opened around 12:05 Eastern time. Those 5 mins were torture! Good luck!!!
