Thank you for this, and I agree with everything so much, I could have written it, lol! We were there for the week of Christmas, and had the same experiences, and LOVED magic bands and fp+. I'm happy to see a thread like this, so that people that haven't been there yet see something other than fp+ doom and gloom.
Thanks for the responses everyone. Glad you are all positive too!!! The reason I decided to post was bc all the doom and gloom was making me not look forward to my trip! I don't want others to feel that way. Hopefully Disney will just keep Working out the kinks.
