FP+ lovers: have you considered...

We went and enjoyed the FP+ system and rode more then 6 rides all in one day.
At MK we did Small world, peterpan (FP+), ariel grotto and ariel M&g, pooh, enchated tales with belle (fp+), carousel, haunted mansion, country bear jam, BTMRR (FP+), people mover, space ranger spin, carousel of progress, monster inc laugh floor, princess m&G, mickey m&g, dumbo, barnstormer, MK railroad, jungle cruise, carpets of alladdin, and Pirates of the carribean. And I rode Space mountain while DS napped in the stroller and DH hungout with him. So in that's, what 24? Doesn't seem like a failure to me

Now granted we went in jaunary, but the crowds were still at an 8. IT was still pretty busy. We just came up with a good plan and worked the crowds. Its doable and not a failure.

If one is talking about going over spring break or Christmas well then that is different, but I still don't see my above list as a failure.

We were there during spring break and got a ton done...just as much as we did before Fast Pass Plus. I really didn't think we would like Fast Pass Plus...since we used to be commando fast pass pullers all day long...but we found out that with smart planning we still did everything we wanted too with minimal waits.

I haven't really considered that I will like it less over time. Right now...I like it as it is (tiers and all...it's fine for me). I think I will like it better in the future and Disney makes adjustments. I think once it is finalized that it will be a much smoother system and work for more people. Even if everyone has pre-booking access at the same time...I still think it's going to work out just fine.

Now...I could be completely wrong in all my predictions...but it's how I feel now about the future. Maybe I'm just the eternal Disney optimist...but I don't see the point in worrying about the future of FP at Disney. It will be what it will be and whatever it is...I will make it work for me.

This about sums it up for me. Although I don't LOVE FP+, I do like it, and I hope that it improves with time. I think that the potential to make it better is certainly there. No system is ever going to appeal to everyone and I understand why some people won't like the limits of FP+, but in spite of my original feelings about it, it really did work well for my family.
