I know some things don't run in the rain. We have a FP for Thunder Mtn. They're now calling for a possibility of rain. If it's raining, and the ride stops running, do we just lose that FP?

If the ride shuts down during your redemption window, you will be issued an all-day recovery pass good for comparable rides including BTM when it comes back up

It switches to a use all day including many other rides fastpass automatically. It also doesn't count against your other fastpasses so you can replace it with something else on top of that or keep riding other things getting more fastpasses and then circle back when it's running to use your pass..

I have only seen outdoor rides close if there is lightning in the area. I think you should still be fine if it rains. It might also depend on how hard the rain is falling. I can be wrong with this.

If the ride closes or breaks down during your fastpass time, you will be allowed to use it for another attraction of Disney's choice or wait for it to reopen.

In October, my daughter and I had 4th FPs for Fantasmic. It ended up getting rained out, and we found two any-time, any-park FPs (one for each of us) on our MDE the next morning.

That must have been a very cool surprise!

We had the same thing with the jungle book show in August (rained out) but the extra passes that showed up were only good for 24 hours and could not be used for FEA or for jungle book the next day. Go figure.

yes they only stop the rides if it is lightning but Orlando fall in or close to lighting capital of the world so rain normally means lighting.
