Hi! I am almost at my 60 day mark to make FP+ reservations and this will be my first Disney trip so everything is a little confusing.

A little background:

It will be myself, my husband, almost 5yr old son, almost 3yr old daughter (so she has no park ticekts) and our 9 month old baby.

I am confused how to book FP+ since there will be some rides my husband will go on with our son, and some I will, and some I can do with my daughter, etc.

I also know about rider switch and plan to do that too.

I am hoping someone can help me organize how to book FP+ for all of us. Here is an example I have laid out -can you please provide your input?

This is for MK - the other parks I think I have figured out, but this park confuses me the most!

*Of course this is if all goes as planned and I can get these FP+
Day 1:

Mom:
1.Meet A&E
2. Enchanted Tales
3. Meet Cinderella

Dad:
1.Meet A&E
2. Enchanted Tales
3. Meet Cinderella

Son:
1. Meet A&E
2. Enchanted Tales
3. Meet Cinderella

Day 2:

Mom:
1.Buzz (will take 2 yr old at another time after husband and son go so hubby will stay with baby and son)
2. ?
3. ?

Dad:
1. Buzz
2. Seven Drawfs
3. Big Thunder

Son:
1. Buzz
2. Seven Drawfs
3. Big Thunder

So on day #2 where I have 2 open FP, should I just book something that I can take my 2yr old on?

If I schedule a FP+ for Peter Pan and take my 2yr old, can I use Rider Switch to then take my 5yr old son later? Will they allow a rider switch for a bigger kid to go on later? We will have our baby too so I'm hoping they would let me do that so that way I can still get my son to go on Peter Pan without a long wait (or to ride again as I'm sure he will love it)

Then I will hopefully plan to rider switch for Seven Drawfs so I can go on with my son.

Thank you!!!!

Rider Switch is for height-restricted rides, so you wouldn't be able to use it for Peter Pan. I'm pretty sure that what you would have to do for day 2 is book Buzz, Seven Dwarfs and Big Thunder for all three of you, then change 2 of yours to something else.

It's easiest to just book everything together and then go back and change just yours to another attraction. That way the times should be the same.

For rider switch you don't both need a fast pass, just one of you.

Like pp said, you can't rider switch for rides without a height restriction. You can all go on Buzz and Peter Pan together, put the baby on your lap or wear in a carrier. While dad and son are going on SDMT and BTMRR you can get a FP+ and take your 2yo and baby on Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea, etc.. I wouldn't do something like IASW where you have to climb out of the boat because they may be difficult with a toddler and baby.
