I am trying to plan my FP+ for an upcoming trip. Assuming we get to the park at 9:30, lunch at 1:00 and dinner at 8:00 (and we are all adults).......is it better to book all our FP+ in the morning before lunch.......or should we stand in line in the morning and book FP+ after lunch? I am so confused, I don't know what to do. If you have any suggestions or have had experience using FP+, please help. Thanks

Are you going to be in the same park all day?

If so, I would use my Epcot fp's in the morning before lunch (make sure you get Soarin) and then head to WS in the afternoon.

If I were in HS all day, I would use my fp's after lunch and try to ride RnR and Tower of Tower in the morning. Save Toy Story Mania for a FP after lunch. Don't even attempt to ride TSM standby if you are not arriving until 9:30am.

Yes. For HS and Epcot we plan to stay the entire day. We have hopper passes, but for those two days we have lunch and dinner plans in the same park we are visiting.

In HS I was going to book FP+ for ToT, Toy Story and Star Wars and we would stand in line for RnRc. In Epcot, I planned to use my FP+ for Soarin, Mission Space, and Spaceship Earth and stand in line for Test Track and Sum of all Thrills.

I am still a bit confused.....is it better to use the FP+ in the morning, or save them for after lunch.

We also have 2 ADRs for our HS and EP days. We did one FP+ in the morning at HS before lunch and saved the other two for after lunch but before dinner.

We also did the same thing at EP. One before lunch and two right before our dinner ADR.

I just didn't like the idea of bunching them all up together. Seemed like it would take a big chunk of your time, depending on how fast the FP+ line moves.

This will be our first time using the new FP+ system, so can't promise I've made the right choices!

Save til afternoon. See the green link in my signature for more info, including strategies.

You don't need to do them all in the morning/afternoon...why not split them up?

For HS I would arrive and go right to RnRC. Have the ToT Fp for 10-11, ride that, have the Star Tours Fp for 11-12, ride that, then do lunch...afternoon break, other rides, whatever. Have TSM 7-8 then dinner at 8.

For Epcot I would arrive and go right to TT, then right to Sum of all Thrills. Have Mission Space 11-12 ride that, Spaceship earth 12-1, ride that. Do lunch, world showcase, etc. Soarin you could do 7-8 also (ride at 7) then dinner at 8.

We found the lines much longer in the afternoon than in the morning. We rode a lot of the big attractions without fp in the morning, and then used our scheduled fps in the afternoon when the lines were longer. FWIW, in epcot the only ones you really need fp for are test track and soarin (on an off season day). You can't get them for both, though, due to how it's structured, if I remember right. In HS, we didn't end up using any of our fp, we didn't do one for TSMM since we have been on it at DCA, but it was the only ride we encountered that needed a fp at all. On busier days it'll be different. We were there last week.
