FP+ @ Guest Relation outside HS 1 hour before RD

Since there is a FP kiost at guest relation outside HS, can I go there first make choices more than 1 hour before HS opens, then head to Animal kingdom for the the morning, then come back to HS in the afternoon? If I stay offsite...

animal kingdom often opens at 8am and DHS at 9. I'm not sure if this is even possible, but if so, you're losing out on A LOT of valuable time at AK. To drive to DHS, wait through parking plaza line, park, walk or take tram, wait in line to use FP kiosk, make selections, walk to car, drive, wait in line at AK parking plaza, take tram, wait in lines to enter park, that's a lot. a lot. Would you be better off doing DHS FP+ selections on another day or picking later? I realize most of the headliners would be gone, but either your spending the hour-two waiting and messing around in the morning, or you'll wait in line for it later at night. I'd go to AK at rope drop, go on all the rides, be done early, then head over to HS.

Kennythepirate said that rides weren't showing any or minimal "Day of"' Fp+ availability until the park gates opened and then a variety of time slots became available for rides such as TSMM. If you were able to access the Fp+ kiosk that early, you may not have much of a selection as compared to waiting for park opening.

true... or I might just do one park on the days I cann't pre-book FP+ .
Anyone knows if I upgrade my linked ticket with more days at the park, can I get to pre-book FP+ for the days added during my resort stay?

As long as you have an onsite resort reservation and tickets linked to MDE, you can book Fp+ for the days of your onsite stay. And, I believe beyond your onsite stay because you will have MagicBands.
