FP+ for Wishes

I am going to WDW during the week of 1/11. Friday the 15th will be our day in MK and we didn't know whether or not we should book a FP for Wishes. We REALLY want prime viewing and expect there will be heavy crowds (Friday before MLK Day). Does anyone suspect that there would still be FP availability later in the afternoon, allowing for using 3 FP early and then using a 4th, 5th, etc FP before booking for Wishes? Thanks!

Same day availability is rare. It would be a fluke.

99.99% chance that Wishes FP won't be available the day of. It's one of the harder to get FP's

Thank you for all of the quick replies everyone! We were there recently in Sept and tried for a same day FP and didn't get it, so I took precautions and made it in advance this time. Just thought I'd cover all my bases and ask opinions!

For those who have booked the Wishes FP, is it worth it? We will be visiting in December, the week of Christmas. This will be our first Christmas trip to Disney, and I love Wishes, so I do want to have the best view.

The view is fine (very good.)
But, the view can be just as good without the FP.
What the FP offers is later arrival time for a prime spot, usually with less crowding.
(And, a very good view of Celebrate the Magic which starts 15 min. before Wishes.)

I love the wishes FP. Maybe it's just me but it seems to be the people with wishes FP are there because they LOVE the show so much. They watch respectfully together. You get way less of the inconsideration and distraction. Like I said maybe it's just me.
