FP for TSM or RNR?

Because of the delightful tiering (which is my only complaint with FP+) our DHS day is stumping me. In November there was no tiering and we fp'd both. My question is FP TSM and do RNR standby at rope drop or FP RNR and do TSM standby at rope drop? We're going over our spring break with our DHS day being Tuesday April 1st. I watched the wait times this morning and it seems like the time went up on TSM faster than RNR. Any experience with this?

TSMM would probably be my choice. It seems to be slow loading and I rarely see wait times under an hour on any given day. I think you have a better chance of getting an acceptable wait time riding RNR standby.

TSMM for sure. People always run to that one at rope drop and wait times grow quickly and remain long all day.

I did FP for RnRC. But I'm a hard core rope dropper. I was one one the first 50 people in the park, so I walked right onto TSMM - was out of that ride and onto RnRC before they even opened it (TSM is the only ride that actually begins operating before 9am). Rode standby, then 3 times as single rider and then again with my FP. Of course if you love TSM, you can do exactly this except you'd then go back to TSM to ride a second time with your FP.

It kinda depends on which you like to ride multiple times. Personally, I would FP TSMM for late afternoon, and hit RnRC a couple times at rope drop...maybe even sneak in a ToT. I'd save TSMM for my FP slot and get in line again five minutes before the park closes.

We were there in late January on a cold, rainy day, so take this with a huge grain of "low crowd" salt:

We used FP+ on TSMM, and hit it at rope drop before heading down to ToT and RNRC. Short wait for TSMM (we got to the gates later than I would have likes, and 5 year old legs do not walk as fast as older ones), but basically walk ons at the other two. We had all 3 done before 9:45, when we split up for Star Tours & Disney Junior. We went back to TSMM after lunch during our FP+ window to ride the second time.
