fp for the same attraction in one day?

Haven't been to WDW since 2012 when paper fp was still being used. I think I understand the new fp for the most part. But wondering, can you use an extra fp (like the 4th or 5th) for the same attraction you used for your first 3 advance fp? Or lets say I use my 4th for big thunder mountain, can I use my 5th for big thunder mountain as well if there are any left?
