FP for Test Track or FEA?

Hello! My daughters (4 and 7) are now claiming they're brave enough to try Test Track...I don't believe them, but I so want it to be true so I'm going to plan for it :) Our current Epcot plan is Future World in the morning, mid-day break, World Showcase in the evening/night. We have an early Garden Grill reservation, so I'm hoping to head from there to do Soarin' and Living with the Land with no FPs. Our plan was to FP FEA for around 8pm. If I use that FP for Test Track in the morning instead, what are my chances of getting a 4th for FEA for nighttime? OR is the line usually not so bad at the end of the night? Thanks so much for any feedback :)

FEA shouldn't be too hard to get as a 4th, and even if you can't, the line isn't bad at all right near park close. Should be easy.

I would keep FEA but do it earlier to try to get TT as a 4th (it is not that far a walk into WS, so not too hard to double back to future world after).

Here is my reasoning. First, if you walk up to TT, the cars whiz by real fast, and your kids suddenly have a change of heart, then your Tier 1 FP is wasted. Second, we have heard so many people say "you can get anything via refresh method same day" but that has not been our experience. We have never gotten FEA as a "bonus" FP, and one time we couldn't even get star tours as a 4th. It all depends on crowds; not sure when you are going and what the crowds will be like. Regardless, if you know they definitely want FEA and only maybe want TT, then FEA seems like a clear choice to me. Third, I assume you have checked the height requirements and your 4 year old is 40 inches (ours weren't that height until 5), but even so, there is a difference between being tall enough for a ride and old enough, and I worry TT might be a little too intense for a 4 year old, but you know your kids better of course.

I would definitely use FEA as your third FP UNLESS you're game for showing up at the International Gateway entrance for rope drop. Last mid-July I did this and the rope dropped at 8:53, I buzzed straight over to FEA and was out of the attraction by 9:04 AM. It's much easier to get to FEA at rope drop from the IG entrance because of significantly smaller crowds (there were about 20 people there on the day in question), and I keep hearing over and over that the CMs there tend to drop the rope much earlier than at the main entrance.

If your 4-year old is enough of a baller to ride TT and enjoy it, more power to her - but I think your safest bet is probably FEA.

Just got back. I had a FP for FEA in the morning. I was able to get a 4th for TT and a 5th for FEA again.
