I currently have a FP for Soarin' for our trip next month but I'm wondering if I should switch it for a FP for FEA (if one ever comes available -- I keep checking)...

We will be in Epcot on two afternoons. Which of the two rides typically has the longest standby line?

We were at Epcot twice over the last two weeks, and FEA had much longer lines every time we checked on those days. Soarin' actually got down to a 10 minute wait at about 8:20 (right when we were using our FP - we felt it was a waste!). Then everyone saw that and started going in, and it jumped back up to 25 in a few minutes. FEA was at an hour plus every time we checked.

Soarin' is the better ride, though - if you can choose only one to do, choose Soarin'. If you are trying to do both, and figuring out which one to get an FP+ for, I'd pick FEA.

Yes, you will want to change them. Soarin' is much easier to get on without a FP+ than FEA.

I'm going in Sept for 10 days and have 3 FP for FEA and 1 for Soarin. FEA is the hardest FP to find so its probably your best bet to keep checking. Soarin lines aren't as long due to the third screen (at least that is what I keep reading).

Yes, what everyone said. I have a PPO Akershus reservation but you can't count on FEA not being down, which can quickly increase the wait time. At least with a fast pass for it you have some sort of guarantee you'll get on it at sometime. My strategy now is to go to Soarin early and work my way to the back. My fp is for 2:20.

ETA: according to Lines, it's down right now. It was down when I checked earlier as well.

We are going to use the strategy of PPO Garden Grill and heading to Soarin' first. FEA FP+ for one day and TT FP+ for another Epcot day. Hoping that works out.

I agree I'd go with FEA for your FP. I would also consider that the Soarin line is all indoors in AC, I'd rather wait in that then wrapped around world showcase in the sun. I'm pretty sure with the length of the FEA lines you aren't indoors until the end of the wait.

Last Saturday afternoon, it was all indoors.

In fact, the FP+ line was much closer to being out the door than was Standby. But then, FP+ moves and Standby doesn't (much.)
