FP+ for shows when using a mobility device

I haven't quite figured this out yet. A lot of shows offer FP+. Is it advisable to schedule a FP+ for such shows even if I take in my ECV? Or would that be a "lost" FP+ since I assume the FP+ do not have handicapped spots (I mean how would they know you need one when making FP+ reservations, right?). Or does FP+ still get you in earlier and you can choose a handicapped spot before those without a FP+ come in (which also doesn't sound right because then all handicapped spots could be taken up before those without FP+ come in). So yeah.... how would I best go about this?

JMO but I think FPs are generally wasted on most shows unless the parks are really crowded. But that has nothing to do with whether you have a mobility device or not. Whether you have a FP or not, you will be shown to an available HC spot.

Ive never gotten a FP for a show, and I've never NOT gotten a spot when we've entered the theatre.

It's not like I really want a FP+ for a show but looking at the tier 2 options at DHS - it's basically all just shows if you have a little one who doesn't meet the height requirements for TOT and ST yet. So I was wondering if I'd get a benefit out of scheduling a FP+ for a show for us.

I think if you can not do the other rides then a show might be a good idea with the FP you get in before the other people so you do get to pick your spot.

HS is really difficult, because it is not possible or easy to ride other rides. FPP for Frozen gets you in the very first row, and we have used only for Lion King, the accessible seating fills up really fast. Other shows, it is generally not worth it.

We've had to wait for the next show at VoTLM, so if that's an important one, and you don't want to wait, FP+ it.

So true, I forgot that one. They ran out of companion spaces for us, child in wheelchair could not be left. I stood on the edge.

Thanks for the heads up on the Mermaid show. That would be one my daughter would probably enjoy. I think I am just gonna go use those two FP+ on Frozen and Little Mermaid for now and then see if we'd use them or not.

Companion space is a problem IMHO. I plan to park the ECV so I can sit with my family. Of course that does not help anyone who is not mobile.

I second what other posters have said about VoTLM. We did not have a fp+ for the show but got there fairly early. We had to sit in the last row of the theater. It was fine for us, but I did notice other seats closer to the front, and we assumed those people had fast passes for the show.
We had fp+ for Indiana Jones Stunt Show and got nice seats. They scanned our fp and we were seated in a nice wheelchair section.
The only problem we had was for Finding Nemo. We showed up about 10 minutes before the second to last show and were told all of the wheelchair seating was taken. Yes, that was our fault for showing up so late. I would suggest not to wait to see the very last show of the day, for any shows, in case something like this happens.
However, that being said, we got amazing front row seats about 10 minutes before one of the first shows of FOTLK without fp. So I think it largely depends on the crowds and the show times.
