FP+ for parade/fireworks @ MK

I saw awhile back that someone posted about this topic, but now I can't find it.

I'm curious to know how crowded the roped off area usually is. Does everyone sit or will we have a hard time seeing over ppl near the edge for the parade if we don't get into the section early? What is the window of time for arrival?
Last time-before FP+, my kids could only see the tops of the floats because the crowds were so thick. Just trying to figure out if it's worth using a FP. I really don't want to sit on a curb for an hour plus in order to stake my claim.

You could, but the castle will block the view. You will want to back up about a 100'.

When we used the Wishes FP+ last week the return time was for 7:40-7:55 (Wishes was at 8:00). We got there around 7:30 and there was already a line forming to get in. Still, though, it wasn't that crowded.

Note: it had rained a little bit earlier in the day and so they weren't letting people sit on the grass. You might want to take that into consideration. Also, the viewing area is a bit off-center from the Castle.

I don't think I would use this FP+ again unless we were there at a really crowded time of year (in which case it would be handy). At non-crowded times of year, you can find better spots for Wishes viewing on your own and not have to get there half an hour early.
