FP for new/re-opened attractions AFTER 60 day window...

Our trip is June 4-11. There will supposedly be (or announced/rumored to be) several changes between our 60 day window and our arrival, including but not limited to, Frozen ride opening, Soaring reopening, AK nighttime offerings opening, closing of DHS attractions.

I'm assuming FP will not be available to be pre-booked for rides that have not yet opened/re-opened, even though they are announced to be open during our trip time? When will FP booking become available? On the day the attraction has its official opening (I realize there will be soft openings before that) or a few days before? Will Disney notify or announce that FP booking is opening up for these attractions or do I just have to check it every night/day? Will they offer a 4th FP or would we have to modify our existing FP ressies? If its within the 30 day "day guest" window, would resort guests get any time ahead of day guests to book? Anyone know??

Also, if Disney decides to close an attraction (say at DHS) that we have booked for a FP, before we arrive for our trip, will they notify us so we can modify our existing FP reservations?

Ugh. I've never used FP+ and am trying to learn the ropes and now there is a whole new level of learning to do.

TIA!

Following this thread as I have the same questions. We go June 5-10

They typically do not open FP reservations until they have a hard open date. When they open, it opens to everyone within 30/60 all at once, and it is a feeding frenzy.

You still only get three. And in Epcot, I am willing to bet they shift the tiers, so if you switch you will have to respect tiering.

Thanks for the reply! So how early do they get a hard opening date? A few days? A week? Or more? *If* frozen opens May 1st, as rumored, it would be after our 60 day window, but before the 30 day "day guest" window so I am hoping for that, as then we would only be competing with resort guests. I figure frozen will be a tier 1 so we actually planned 1.5 days for Epcot so we can plan (hope) for booking Soarin, doing TT at rope drop one day...then frozen the other day.

My TA got back to me this evening about this topic and seems to think time will tell and we will know quite a bit more about all these openings/re-openings/closings before the 60 day window. I hope so. Disney hasn't been very forthcoming about much of it. I still remember how park hours came out like almost 2 weeks later than expected for our dates!

I agree that the info will not necessarily be available well in advance. And, in theses cases, what does get posted MIGHT get changed. All you can do is stay vigilant.

Thanks for the reply! It's such an exciting time to go because of all the new offerings but I'm fairly certain, things are going to get screwed up in the process...lol.
