FP+ for Finding Nemo

We got it. We got to take the "short/direct" route into the theatre, but they seemed to let the regular line and the fast pass line in at the same time. We only got in front of the regular crowd marginally because we at the front of the FP+ line. If we hadn't been there at the opening time we would have been in competition for the same seats.

I asked the CM what the advantage was and she said a guaranteed seat, but I didn't see any reserved section or area so I have no idea how they could guarantee a seat?? I wanted to ask them how later, but I never did.

We went the first week of October. Not sure if anything has changed.

I found this to be the least valuable FP+ of our recent 9 day trip. We showed up right at the opening of our window only to find the theatre already 3/4 full.

It is priority access and not reserved seating. See the link in my signature for more information.

At least for the show we were at in early Oct the Priority Seating wasn't followed as I would expect. The Fast Pass return time was from 10:30 to 10:45 I think. However, they let both lines in at 10:30 so having a Fast Pass was not an advantage when we went. If you showed up at 10:40 the regular line would have been open for 10 min. and your priority seat would not have been much of a priority. I imagine this could irk some people who use a Fast Pass and not really get anything out of it.

Does it at least get you closer the front of a shorter line? We like the Nemo show but feel like for best effect, you are best served near front where you can see actor's facial expressions etc...

Only if you show up and stand in the FP+ line well before the start of your FP+ window. Looks like approx. the same thing as the standby line.

I assume that would be the case for FP+ for any show, be it Nemo, FOTLK, ITTBAB, TT w/ Crush, Laughing Floor, Philharmagic, etc??

Sure.
The larger the crowd is waiting in standby, the more value is the FP+.

Nemo Musical is rather unique, however, as there are fewer shows and the line to enter the theater
can grow pretty large for many performances... generally 30 minutes, give or take, before show-time.

L\I'd thing long and hard about giving up a precious FP+ for many of the "show attractions"
at WDW, as they can be seen without a lot of trouble just by showing up sufficiently in advance
of the start time.
