FP+ for 2 year old

We will be able to schedule our FP in a few weeks and now we're wondering, will we schedule Fastpasses for our 2-year-old? She will have a magic band but obviously doesn't need a park ticket.

You will not be able to schedule Fp+ for her because she does not have a ticket linked to MDE. All the MagicBand does is provide a link to all the info/data in MDE.

You have to link a ticket to schedule FP+.

Your 2yo won't have a ticket and can just go with you through the FP+ line. Someone else posted they were stopped sometimes by CMs as they went through the FP line when they saw the toddlers MB, I don't plan to make my son wear his to avoid the confusion (plus I don't think he will agree to have that band on his wrist anyway).

Yes, they can't expect your 2yo to wait outside the ride for you to finish.

We just got back and our 2 year old rode every ride he was talk enough for w us during our FP windows. We would walk up scan our bands, he would put his wrist on the scanner ( he didn't like wearing his band) and they would wave us all through.

We encountered this issue, plus the magic band frustrated my daughter since it didn't light up. We eventually just scrapped it.

Bonus tip though, if you are using FP for character meet and greets schedule just you or just your hubby and take turns taking your child in. Get double fast passes that way. Also works for rides if you wanna switch off.
