FP -Do they ever become available?

I am trying to secure a FP for Seven Dwarves. Currently it says there are none available. Do people ever cancel and some become available? For now, we will go there at rope drop, but I am curious. Thanks!

Yes, people cancel all the time. Just keep trying.

Yes. We ended up cancelling some last minute during our last trip. We had two MK days and I had made fastpasses for 7DMT for both days. After riding it the first time, all 5 of us decided that we didn't need to do it again so I changed for a Pooh fast pass about two days out.

On our last trip I scored some the morning of for early afternoon. I did it one at a time, overlapping times. I just kept checking the app while waiting in line for other attractions. I was able to get 5!

7DMT is certainly one of the harder ones but it does happen. Like the pp we also cancelled ours last minute last trip because we just couldn't swing it before needing to leave to catch MDX.

Today I booked 30 days out for March 22. The earliest was for 8PM, but even now 14 hours later there are still some for the 9-11PM times. I am going to try again for our MK day 2, and hope for earlier time. I will be one of those who cancel, if that happens!

We scored one for Peter Pan while standing in the stand-by line for Peter Pan. It was great to jump out of the standby line and walk up to the FP entrance. I'm sure the people behind us thought we were giving up on Peter Pan.
