FP+ Day is tomorrow, Question on Creating FP+ Party

So, tomorrow I will be booking FP+ for my wife and I and 2 of our friends.
Our friends will be with us the first 2 days.

My question is about setting up the FP+ party for both groups 4 people and 2 people.
I plan on making FP+ for the four of us first then for just me and my wife.
I'm on the Disney website now and see how to set up FP+ party for the 4 of us but once I'm finished making
all the FP+ for the 4 of us, how do I change the FP+ party from 4 people to 2 people quickly.
I don't want to waste time tomorrow trying to figure it out.

Only Select the 2 people you need, the date, the park, then choose FPs.

When you start choosing FPs, it will be obvious. They give you the option right away of which people you want to choose FPs for (before you even choose the ride). It starts with what day, what park, and which people. Then you choose the ride/time.

Just return to the FP party and deselect the 2 people you don’t want in the smaller grouping.

So, when you first start choosing FPs, you choose the 4 people. And every time you go back and choose another FP, it will bring up a screen asking you to choose which people you want to choose FPs for. In this screen, you can select and deselect the people you want to choose FPs for.

Now, the system is a little smart. It will automatically select the original 4 people you chose the first time you did a FP. However, in this screen, you can simply uncheck the checkmarks.

What I'm saying is that every time you select a FP, it will show the screen to choose your "party" every single time. It's not as simple as selecting your party and then choosing 12 FPs and then having to go back to a homescreen to deselect people from your party. It will ask you every single time you want to book a FP, who will be in the party.
