Hey Folks,

So we have just booked our trip for Disney world for 3rd week of August. I've got a ride plan but only thing I am struggling with is how to do my fast pass selections with having a child who is only 42 inches tall. So in MK my daughter wont be able to ride space mountain.

So we will have fast passes for that ride for myself and my son and then he and my wife can do ride with child swap tickets.

But what is a good plan of attack for the other 2 FP's(Daughter and Wife)? I don't really want to be using them on a ride by themselves since then it will mean they are in a FP line while rest of family is in a regular line. Thought about booking another fast pass for the same ride that she has already done that day so could re ride that one again but since it is her first time to Disney world. I am not sure which rides she would like so much to ride again.

I would love your guys opinon's and what you have done in the past or have planned

Get her a FP for a ride close by so DD and her can ride while you and DS are on space

Get your wife and DD a FP for Buzz Lightyear that is for the same time as your Space Mountain. That way while you guys are riding Space her and wife are ridding Buzz. Then when you swap so wife and son can ride space you take her your daughter for ice cream or to one of the shops or time it so the dance party is going on while you wait for your wife and son to get off Space.

here is a list of a few rides and rides close by that you can do at the same time some I did good things to do if you do not have a FP for and are dong stand by and the line will take 30 minutes things the too small can do.

if doing 7DMT pooh is good

splash or BTMRR there really is nothing close to these too rides but you could do magic carpets or small word, PP ( and remember you can use child swap until the last day of the month.)

at EPCOT

TT the Mexico boat ride is nice ( a little walk )

soaring the boat ride in the land and there is a move up stars

HS

TT or RnR the beauty and the best show ( they will be done before you and they have to see the too small child to use it) this might be better doing stand by

star tours the jets training is fun to watch

AK

dianasour there is a show close by ( finding Nemo) but agin you will have to let them see the too small child.agin might be better to do this stand by

same with EE

pandora rides good luck

We do what others have suggested - get my son a FP for something he would actually want and we've never used rider swap. DD9 will go on any roller coaster/thrill ride, and DD6 absolutely will not. My husband and I trade off - one of us rides Pirates of the Caribbean or Magic Carpets with my son while the other parent rides Splash or Thunder Mountain with my daughter. We go to MK multiple days, so my daughter will get more than one ride on the "mountains" so my husband and I both get to ride too. We do Buzz Lightyear with Space Mountain. Dumbo works too, it isn't as far away as it seems, especially when the Space Mtn riders will wait in line even with a fast pass.
