Any recent comparisons? I have no plan for my third FP but wonder if the Character Spot is a waste as we have Visa...

Also - if we have three visas between us, can we get multiple photos?

Where are u looking at for character spot? I have done a bunch of them for FP back in Sept. Let me know. Here to help. Donot know about Visa

We did both last week. It was Minnie and Pluto at the Visa. No wait at all. We waited about 15 minutes at the Character Spot for Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie. That was a very light crowd day though, lightest of our whole trip. The other days we were there posted wait times were 25-45 min.

My family has done both multiple times -as far as time spent I feel at the Visa meet we got to spend more time with the characters and at the character spot we met more characters and they were great but we were more rushed. So it depends. Both are good though.

Character Spot is individual photos with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. Visa is a group photo with 2 characters, typical Minnie/Goofy or Pluto/Mickey, you won't know before you go in. Personally, I would start with Visa, then depending on who you get you can decide if you want C Spot. C Spot's line fluctuates throughout the day; sometimes you need the FP and sometimes you won't.

Are your three Visa three different numbers? If it's the same number on three cards, then it only counts as 1.

ok. Thank you all.

Good point. Total of two numbers. Thanks!
I am targeting that area in the later evening, so your plan sounds good.

I used to focus on the visa characters (despite the long line) because of the 5x7 print out, but now that the print out is gone I'm getting a FPP for C.Spot so I know I won't have a long line instead of guessing or going back multiple times for the line to be short at Visa.

Do you plan to get FP+ for character spot? After all what else would you pick out of tier B? :)

I didn't know that the characters could be so different between the two options. That is interesting.

This is why I am wondering!! :)
My FP+ day is Wednesday. I've been messing around here on and off for hours trying to decide exactly which ones I am after. I can easily decide on the first two for most parks, but so unclear for the third!
I love ride rationing... :headache:

I know! We ended up with Imagination as our third because we had no idea what else to do. Spaceship Earth was the other one so it was amusing when the FP+ line was as long as the standby. I suspect that many don't know what to do with those tier b options. :crazy2:

How does the Visa thing work? Is it a special Visa? I'm going to assume it's a Disney Visa card.

We have done both. At the M&G we had Minnie, Mickey, Pluto and Goofy. The first time we went in the Visa M&G we had Minnie, Mickey and Goofy. When we went back (someone "took" my backpack with all my pictures and autograph books) and the 2nd time at the Visa M&G we had Minnie, Mickey and Pluto.
ETA: we got really cute pictures at the Visa M&G with individual and group shots. We did not feel rushed at either location.

There is a location inside Innovations where you can get in to meet characters with your Visa card, There is also a Visa meet and greet at Hollywood Studios with Kylo Ren.
ETA: Innoventions West

We always FP the Character Spot because nothing else really needs it. The Visa meet is two or three characters at a time.
