With the new tiering at HS, I was wondering how availability is for the tier 1 options.

Since there are more options I'm assuming the chances of getting at least 1 of them are better now at the 60+2, 3 etc. What attraction does everyone think (or know) is most popular out of the tier 1's? Will be heading back in July so trying to put together a rough park day plan. Is SDD still hard to get at 60+2? Has MFSR become the first choice for everyone?

Just a guess, but SDD is still probably the hardest to get. I’d personally try to get SDD before MFSR. The wait tends to be longer and it can be brutally hot and sunny queue as it usually snakes into/past TSL.

With the spring breakers in full swing, the availability is pretty scarce through 60+2 but opens up after that

The Dibb has good info on this:

Touring Plans has a FP+ availability calendar also:

I think that the three Tier 1s have different factions, so I bet it spreads out the demand pretty well. You'll definitely have some people who have zero interest in SW so MFSR won't be their priority. Then you may have some folks that have already done SDD so that's not their priority. I have two days in HS and have MMRR (which I had dropped MFSR for on the day MMRR became available) and SDD. I had just heard that MFSR was underwhelming and my boys really want to do SDD (I've been on it). So that's how we prioritized our Tier 1s.

At my 60 day window, MFSR was available at 60+1 in the afternoon and I had my pick of SDD at 60+5.

I’m also interested. I reaaaaallllly want a MMRR for my first day in August and I wouldn’t be picky with the time either. I guess only time will tell!

thanks everyone! Anyone have any predictions for demand for MRR?

It's new and the WHOLE family can ride it...so there might be some demand for it. DHS is finally getting to be a more balanced park which should help spread people around.

It is the shiny new ride in HS. Early buzz is also very positive. I would expect demand to be high.

making my FP+ next Friday, planning 1 full day and 1 partial (if needed) at DHS. 7 day trip, hoping to be able to get SDD and MMRR. fingers crossed.

See my links above. The Dibb and the TP FP+ availability site can show you historical info for MMRR. Pretty easy to see that 60+3 is when it starts opening up based on the past week or so.

So the only hope for more than one Tier 1 ride in one day is standby? Meaning FP never pop up for Tier 1 later in the day? Or can they randomly appear?

Yes, historically at any of the Tiered parks you can often pick up one or multiple Tier 1 FP day of using "refresh" method.

OP, with your trip in July I think it's hard to have a solid idea at this point. As MFSR (Feb.19) and MMRR (Mar.4) come online with FP you'll get people on here reporting on wait times, what is being rope dropped and FP availability that will really help you with this decision when you make your FP selections in May.

You mean as a fourth FP? Sure, there's always a chance. Really depends on when you go, though. I'll be there on one of the busiest weeks of the year - I'm not expecting to get a fourth FP. Will I be refreshing like a madwoman as soon as I tap in to my third? Absolutely. But my plans to get on all three of the Tier 1 rides is to have FP for two of them and to RD the third (or try to see if standby gets reasonable on MFSR towards the end of the day, which is the current trend, but likely a pipe dream the week I'm there). That's just my two cents, of course.

I’m curious about the tier 2’s now that Tower of Terror and Rock n rollercoaster have moved down. Are they easier or harder to get now? My daughter loves Rocking Roller coaster, but if I can’t get a fastpass for TOT we will probably skip it this trip

I got both TOT and RNR for both days at HS at 60+1 and 60+5 days. And then I just moved them around a bit earlier today for one that's 50 days from now. There were quite a few time slots available.
