FP at 30 day mark

To those who can't make their fastpass selection till the 30 day mark do you feel like its harder compared to those at the 60 day mark?

I was rather surprised for a few things even like a week ahead of my last trip I was able to make a few changes. We might be staying off property this time and I want to make sure I can still get what I want when I want for the most part.

I have wondered if they only release a certain amount of fastpasses and then release more. I have never had much trouble getting anything at 30 days either

I can't compare it to 60 days out, because we always stay off site. But with the exception of 7DMT and FEA, I have no trouble getting FP+ for what I want and usually when I want at the 30 day mark. Frankly, this same holds true pretty often at the 24 hour mark...we change FP+ plans fairly often.

I had trouble with this one and 7DMT. I'm sure Pandora will be difficult to get at 30 days

We are staying offsite this year for the first time. Granted, we haven't been since FP+ has been in play, so I won't be able to compare the 30 day availability to the 60 day. Everything I've read says FEA and 7DMT will be hard, or near impossible, to get. I would imagine the two Pandora rides will enter that pantheon. I'm glad to hear everything seems to be pretty available.

I live locally and it's difficult to get Frozen Ever After and hard to get times for 7DMT. Usually some availability 30 days out but they are almost always late hours at night. It's also nearly impossible to get the Pandora rides. The Navi River Journey has availability right now 29 days and 30 days out but it is limited and in the evenings. Flight of Passage has had no real FP+ availability at the 30 day mark since the window opened past May 27. I can't even find FP+ for one person at any time, any day at the moment. Had a chance to ride it on Saturday at an AP preview and thought it was amazing. A CM said the standby queue could hold people for a 6 hour 25 minute wait. With demand the way it is now, I can see why Disney is offering 2 extra magic hours just for Pandora until July 4.

I just looked at our FPs. We are 31 days out. A few days ago I looked and FEA had only two slots for a party of three. I just looked after reading the title question. There are a number of slots for FEA from early afternoon through the evening.

I was able to book FEA and 7DMT at 30 days out without any problems during spring break. I actually just booked 7DMT yesterday at 21 days, although it wasn't there at 30 days which was interesting. I think sometimes they do release more FP's. 60 days is easier and you can get earlier times, for my family the times aren't a big deal as we do not do RD.

There is no evidence to suggest this is a regular practice. Usually when they're gone at 60+ days, they're gone--except when guests cancel or change their plans.
