FP+ and what happens if someone in your party doesnt go?

We leave Saturday morning. I bought our park tickets from UT. I linked them and have fast passes. Now my husband might not be able to go (he is a farmer and needs to get hay in). What happens to his park ticket? If it is never used, will it stay good until we go again? I know that is how it used to work but wasn't sure if FP+ would have changed things. TIA.

Sorry he may not make it! No worries, if the tickets aren't used (make sure someone doesn't use his magic band by mistake), the ticket will be available for use on a future trip!
