OK, the last time I went to WDW was in 2010 and I had the whole FP system down like a Boss...now I'm just totally lost with the Magic Band system. I sorta get it, but what I really want to know is how have the visits been recently for those staying off-site? Were you still able to get on attractions in a reasonable amount of time w/out the MB's?

Offsite visits have been absolutely fine, you stop at a kiosk in he morning, make your selections and then go ride, took us less than 5 minutes even on 14th February when parks were jammed.

So getting to the park early still would be key to getting a FP?

The new system works against people staying off site. We went to the Rockin' Rollercoaster kiosk when the park opened and got a fast pass. It was for 4:45pm. All the earlier fast passes were reserved by on site guests. :confused3 Thanks Disney.
