I have an almost 40" three year old and we will be at WDW in September. Assuming he is not yet 40" when we visit, I'm trying to understand how the Fp+ will work with the rider switch. Do I really only need to book two fast passes for space mountain, but using rider switch three of us (daughter husband and me) will be able to ride on the Fp+ line plus my daughter will go both times? So essentially for any attraction he is too short for, we only need to use Fp+ allocations for two of the four of us?

Also, do we only need Fp+ for two children for the Anna and Elsa meet or do all four of us need passes? And if I don't get a Fp does that mean I don't get my picture with the ice queen? :umbrella:

You will all need fp+ for A&E.

As for ride attractions- only the people entering the ride as the first riders will need a FP+. Then 3 people can ride on the rider switch. So yes, the way you describe it is accurate.

The way you described it was the way it worked for us last September. Keep in mind that you need to show your 3 year old at the fastpass entrance to get the rider switch pass. Also check the expiration on the rider switch pass. Ours were good for several days.
