FP+ and reserving at 30/60days out

I am sure this question is a repeat, but please know I've looked around a bit before asking!

We have a room-only reservation in October. I believed this meant we could schedule FP+ at 60 days out, which means later this week. When I hopped on MDE this morning to make sure I'd know how to schedule, it was showing a reservation window of only 30 days from now.

Does this mean something is wrong, and I need to call to get it resolved? Or does it mean I was mistaken, and a room-only reservation isn't enough to get the 60-day privileges?

Thanks in advance!!

Yes this question is a weekly repeat lol.

Your window will open up at midnight at your 60 day mark. Earlier than that and you'll only see 30 days out

No, nothing is wrong. You 60 day window will open at 60 days when it should.

Anyone with tickets can book FP at 30 days out, that is why you can see 30 days ahead now. You are not eligible for 60 days ahead until exactly 60 days before your reservation, so it won't show up now. You can practice making FP in the days that are open now, just be sure to cancel them.

I figured it was a popular one but I appreciate you taking the time to answer!

Thank you! I won't worry about it then!

How do you practice since the first thing it asks you is to put in your tickets? I'd love to practice before doing it for real!

Yep, it's so popular it's addressed in bullet point number 3 under Booking Windows and Scheduling in the FP+ thread ;):

This is addressed in bullet point number 4 in the above thread.
