FP+ and Magic Bands Question for Split Stay

I purchased our PAP's this morning and was able to link the tickets without a problem. My concern is that we have a split stay and they sent two sets of magic bands. Will I need to use both sets of bracelets? I am hoping for no confusion on arrival. Will MDE recognize that the PAP's are linked for both trips but still require me to use different sets of bracelets?

My next question is there a way to get the FP+ times I would like instead of their "Best Match" and "A,B,C" choices? For example our first night is in EPCOT and I have dinner reservations and want to use all three FP+ options but I can't get the times I need.

Thank for any help you may provide....It is much appreciated. :)

Nothing is actually stored on the MagicBands. They only contain a unique band id that is linked to your MDX profile. All benefits and entitlements (such as park admission) that's linked to your MDX profile is accessible by any MagicBand.

If you don't like the FP+ windows assigned, you can modify them one attraction at a time to change the time.

Thanks for your response. How do I modify them one at a time? The only option was in the group of three for the day and the times were not at all what I would pick.

Is there away to pick my own times?

In reference to the Magic Bands, will the first set they sent open to door to our room for the first leg of the trip and FP+ and the second set of magic bands be utilized for the rest of the trip?

If the magic bands store everything on MDE why do I have two sets?

During the initial FP+ booking process, you can only select one of the four options (Best, A, B or C). Once you've done that, go back to the FastPass+ option from the MDE drop down menu and select the day you want to modify. You will be presented with a Manage your FP+ Selections page. If you select 'Change', you will be able to change either the attraction or window for selected people (or all) for one of the attractions. You can repeat this as necessary if you want to change other attractions.

You can use the MagicBands interchangeably. Both sets of MagicBands will work for both reservations.

Currently, Disney is sending a new set of MagicBands for each reservation. No word on when or if this practice will end.

Thank you for your helpful response! I was able to change some of my FP selections to better times. Other times I would prefer were not an option....
Should I keep checking to see if times open up or will the offerings just be the same (or less) than what is available now?

My new strategy was to select FP for attractions to be used in the evening.....seems like most of the offerings are for the daytime. Is this typical?
And what's with Epcot only allowing one from the group where I'd like to select all three?:confused3

Are all the parks gong to do this or is it because Epcot has fewer attractions?

I've noticed that sometimes when changing FP+ times only a few choices are shown, but at the bottom of the list is a "Show All Times" button that will bring up a longer list if times.

But if you're trying for evening times, are you running up against park closing time?

Epcot & DHS are the only parks that have tiers. It's not known if DAK & MK will get tiers or if the tiers are permanent/seasonal.
