FP+ and HS question

I have a 6 and 3 year old. For FP+, it is pretty easy to pick out three rides that the 6 yr old can go on, tsm, tot and Star Wars. I am all set on that. My three year old and wife can also go on tsm. On the old system, I would just use the FP that the three year old and my wife would get for tot and sw, and I would just do those rides twice. Now that it is a band on your wrist, you can no longer do that (i assume). The only thing left to pick at HS are shows, but that just seems like a waste of a FP. Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure you can just swap bands as some people do not wear them on wrists and rather carry them in pockets. Can't you just use your wife and youngest bands? Maybe someone else can clarify better.

Yes, there is no problem with swapping bands. As long as Mickey lights up green at the tapstile, you will be good to go. Many people just hold their MagicBand at the tapstiles for park entry and Fp+, you will be fine.
