I am pretty sure I have read the answer to this question before but I have since read so much on FP+ that I have confused myself  So my question is:
If I get a FP+ for 7DMT for myself and ODS and DH rides the carousel with YDS and we get the rider switch pass does that mean I need a FP+ for DH for him to return or does that in essense free up a FP+ for DH for, lets say Splash (which neither DS will be riding based on current heights) and we can rider switch that too?
Also we will be with my SIL and her 11 yo DS some of our park days so if we do line up FP+s to match theirs would they avail of rider switch as well, or the 11 yo at the least? I think I'm even confusing myself more by asking these questions so I would really appreciate if someone could help my silly brain wrap itself around this.
TIA :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Fast pass is perfect for your family situation! Yes, it frees up a FP for DH.
Here's how your example would work:
1. All 4 of you approach the fastpass line for 7DMT. Show them younger DS and ask for a babyswap pass.
2. Right away, you and ODS ride 7DMT through the fastpass line using your FP+s. Meanwhile, DH and little one do something else.
3. The babyswap is good for up to 3 people (or maybe up to 4, I forget...). So later on, DH, ODS, and someone else if you want (SiL, or the 11 year old), go back and get into the fast pass line using the baby swap pass.

DH, meanwhile, has a FP+ for something else. It can be something for him and littleone to ride while you guys are on 7DMT, or it can be something with a height requirement, and then you can also get a babyswap pass for that. (ie, get a Big Thunder FP+ for DH. He rides it alone the first time, and then you and ODS ride it the second time using babyswap.)

Also we will be with my SIL and her 11 yo DS some of our park days so if we do line up FP+s to match theirs would they avail of rider switch as well, or the 11 yo at the least? I'm not sure I totally understand your question here. Are you asking if your SIL and her DS can use the babyswaps? If so, sure! They are just a piece of paper and not tied to magic bands or anything. So anyone can use the babyswap FP return.

Have fun!

Have fun!

Thanks a million for answering that for me :thumbsup2 That really helps me, I've gotten my head around it for sure this time! Lets hope I can make FP+ work for us as I hope I can, it really seems like it should work for our situation! Fingers crossed. Thanks again :goodvibes
