Can you use these together? For example, since there are going to be 4 of us with tickets(and then dd2 without one) will we be able to get 2 FP's and then when those 2 use the FP get a baby swap for the other 2? Then we could use the other 2 tickets to get a FP somewhere else?

Yep! This is one of my most favorite ways to make the most of the FP system. Totally legal and a great way to maximize rides. Have fun!

Same here, do it all the time and it works perfectly!!!

In doing the child swap.... Ask for the pass at the beginning and sometimes you have to 'show' the child that is not big enough. They almost did not give me one. As I did not know this..
My dd2 was asleep and Grammie had her. So it worked out.. But make sure to ask aout it when you get in the FP line and have the baby ner by just in case...

I might be able to take advantage of this, but don't really understand, can someone explain how to use Fastpass and Baby swap together?:rolleyes1

This might sound like a dumb question. My husband & I are going to DL this weekend with our 10 month DS and my two nephews (ages 9 & 11). For the child swap, do we all wait in line and when we get to the end of the line we tell the we want the child swap pass?

We've done this several times. The last time was last October. You go up to the CM at the Fast Pass Entrance, except at BTMRR, where you get it at the line entrance, and tell them that you need a Baby Swap pass. They usually want to see the adult and child that are waiting behind. They give you a paper coupon and after you're done riding, two people in your party can use that to go on the ride. You can hang onto it and use it later in the day if you want to. After you get the baby swap pass, the person waiting behind with the baby/child can go do something else--you do not wait in line at all. Depending on the ride, I would usually take my toddler on a nearby ride while the others were riding that one. Winnie the Pooh is a good one to do while they're on Splash. And Buzz is a good one when they go on Space Mountain. BTMRR is often quick enough of a line that we would just watch the ride while we waited.

You don't always use the Fast Pass entrance with the child swap pass. Since there isn't one at BTMRR, you go in through the exit and show the CM there. And I think we went in through the exit at Space Mountain also. Just make sure to double check when you get there.

It just works out that between the two you end up with extra Fast passes usually. Having a baby swap pass is essentially like having a Fast pass, but it's good for 2 people. So say you have 4 people in your group that can ride the ride and 1 baby. One possibility is to get 2 FP and a baby swap pass. 2 people ride the ride with the fast passes, then the other 2 ride it with the baby swap pass. You can use the other 2 park tickets to get fast passes for another ride at the same time you got the first 2 fast passes. So essentially you have 2 FP for ride A and 2 for ride B. Because of baby swap, the other two people don't need fast passes to use the fast pass line, so you can actually bypass more stand-by lines quicker this way. Does that make sense? We often went ahead and got all the fast passes and the baby swap on our favorite rides and then we were able to ride them twice that day using the fast pass line, because after the first go around we had 2 fast passes left over and could then use those and get another baby swap pass for the other 2 people.

How does it work for 3 people. My wife and I are going with are 1 year old and we are taking a friend of ours. So if we all want to get on Indy do we just get 2 fast passes and a baby swap pass? Can we all get in line at the same time and then when we are at the ride my wife and I get on while our friend watches our baby and wait for us to return? Do you know if they will also let one of ride again with our friend?

Or would my wife and I use the baby swap pass while our friend waits outside for us, then when we return one of us uses the 2 fast passes to get on with our friend. Also do they do this for soarin?

So confused any advice would help. Thanks

What you would do is get fastpasses for a ride. Then when your time is ready, get in line and get a baby swap pass and grab some more fastpasses. Then however many fastpasses you have can go on while one waits with the baby, then when they get back, you use the babyswap pass and two of you can go back on with that.

Then later you use the other fastpasses and do the same thing again! Very little waiting when you combine both.

Sorry, yes they do this for Soarin!
