FP+ and AP question

We have been AP holders in the past but not since FP+ rolled out. We need to get new ones for our next two trips.

We already have a room only reservation in August, all linked up in MDE.

My question is....I know when we buy our AP's we will only get the voucher. Will the voucher link up in MDE and allow us to make our FP+ selections! or are we better off purchasing a regular MYW ticket and upgrading once we get there.

We just did this and I had to buy the vouchers to make the FastPass+ reservations. I made the mistake of thinking that meant when I got to the park, my magic band would automatically activate my Annual Pass. Wrong. I still had to go to will call and get the APs physically, but luckily they were already on my magic band. So, when I went through park gate after getting APs, I used my magic band and it worked seamlessly

Thanks! I knew I'd still have to activate them, but it sounds like the vouchers are enough to be able to make the selections so that's great!!!
