FP+ and ADR

What are the rules for booking? I have a lot of 11:30am ADRs and would like to use my FP+ choices prior to that because I like to leave the parks around 12:30/1:00pm. Thanks!

Do you go back to the park in the afternoon/evening?

If so, I would not schedule FP+ for the mornings. In most cases lines aren't that bad if you go at RD. That way you can use the FP+ when the crowds are heaviest.

I usually get there at RD and when using FP- in the past, get all my rides done in the morning to spend the evening doing shows/fireworks.

With the limit of 3 with FP+, I would like to be there at RD to get the rides done utilizing the RD strategy and FP+ so that I can ride things multiple times. I know everyone is suggesting using FP+ in the evening, but I rather the evenings be for other things.

You can schedule your FP any time. When you initially choose them it gives you their picks for best options, but you can go back in and choose whatever time you want and change it. I have ADRs and it would let me choose a FP during my ADR if I wanted. Obviously I don't, but it would let me.

Rumors are that you can't schedule a FP+ within 2 hours of an ADR, but that was not our experience. I've also seen rumors that if you are on the website you can schedule them in that time, but on the app you can't not. Don't know if that is true, but if you are trying on the app and can't do it, then it is worth a try on teh website.

We are all day park people, but we almost all ways have a TS sometime between 11:30 and 12:30, and we do want to ride Soarin, TSM etc. by FP before that. That was our pattern before FP+ and we don't really want to change it- especially at EPCOT where we usually go to WS at lunch and then stay over there the rest of the day.

I had no problem on the website scheduling FPs for 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. when I had ADRs in our usual time frame. It would even try to set them right through our ADR times and would pop up a warning that they were set in an ADR. Even though it had a warning, you could proceed and set them there though.

Good luck! Hope it works for you! Report back because I'm interested in whether you have issues. If you do, that creates yet another unworkable FP+ problem for my family.

Wow! I'm so glad to hear that you could change your fp+ times to close to your ADRs! That puts my mind at ease in planning my touring.

Can I also ask if you could make FP+ back to back? For example 11-12 then 12-1 and 1-2?

Yes, you can - I know we have btb Peter Pan and ETWB one day.

This may be different now but in our experience while the times that the system gives you when you are first scheduling your FP+ may be during your ADR time, once you have a FP+ you can't change it to times around your ADR (1 hour before and 2 hours after). The times are not given as options to change the FP+.

For example, we have a 7:00 pm Garden Grill ADR. The original selection gave me a 6:30-7:30 Soarin' which I took. I then tried to change a different FP+ (Spaceship Earth) to 8:00-9:00 and it would not offer that time although I know it was available.
