FP+ and a possible extra day

I want to make sure I have this right.

We are going to the parks Monday (Epcot), Tuesday (MK) and Wednesday (DHS) following a 1/2 marathon. My husband thinks he might want to add a day at AK on Sunday (the day of the race) if he feels like it.

1. Am I correct in my understanding that I can book FPs at all 4 parks including AK on Sunday even if I only have 3 park tickets and nothing will be messed up as long as we add our 4th day ticket on Sunday?

2. And nothing will happen if we decide not to do AK as long as we don't use any park tickets until Monday?

1. You can only book FPs for 3 days. When you add on Ticket #4, then you can book for that 4th day.

Once you add the 4th day ticket , you can add 3 FP+ for that day at AK.
Your original 3 days worth of FP+ At the other parks should stay as long as you don't go and delete or change for those days.

You'll want to add that extra day on Wednesday. If you wait until after your last park day you'll be paying a premium for a 1-day ticket. AK starts at $99.

Elf needs to add on that day on Sunday so the FPs for Wednesday aren't deleted by the FP system.
