FP+ 7-Day Reservation Rule?

Can someone please remind me - will I only be able to make FP+ reservations for 7 days of my vacation at one time at the 60-day mark prior to my arrival?

And then, after I actually use one day while at Disney, I will be able to make an additional day reservation with no more than 7-days of FP+ reservations at one time?

Plainly and simply, can a family have more than 7-days of FP+ reservations at one time?

Or, am I just remembering the rule(s) during the test phase when I was last at Disney?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

We were just there for 10 days, and we were able to make our FP+ 60 days in advance for all 10 days of our trip. :)

At the 60 days before check-in date, all WDW Resort guests can make as many days of FP+ reservations as they have "ticket days."

The "7-day FP+ rule" is for guests with Annual Passes and who do NOT have any reservations at a WDW Resort.

Robo, I'm a mix of the two scenarios.

I am staying on-site (by virtue if DVC membership) and entering the Parks with an Annual Pass.

If I've read your post correctly, I will considered an on-site Resort guest with unlimited days of FP+ reservation capability, subject to the number of days of my Resort reservation.

Do I understand this accurately??

And as always, thank you.

In this situation, you should be able to book for the duration of your stay on-site.

Yes, you will be able to make FP+ reservations for the number of days of your onsite resort reservation.

Just to confirm for you what everyone has said, I am staying for two weeks onsite with an AP at the end of August and at the 60 day mark I made 14 days of FP+ ressies

You should be able to make FP+ reservations for every day of your on-site stay. However, there is a "glitch" where the MDE system doesn't always recognize that your on-site stay is longer than the 7 days that AP holders get to make FP+ reservations.

In April, we had 11 days at Disney, but the MDE system only allowed us to make FP+ reservations for 7 days. We had to make additional reservations after we used up a day.

I just had to call Disney and have them fix my husband's account. We have 7 days onsite next week, and then 7 more in September. The MDE system would not allow him to make any FP+ reservations for Sept - it said he had reached his FP+ limit.

I did not run into this problem, perhaps the glitch is for "split stays"? Is the September stay within the 60 day window? At any rate, you are allowed to make them for the length of your stay when onsite with an AP, so if you run into a problem like this, call guest services and they will straighten it out.

Yes, I had to call Disney yesterday to have them fix my MDE account so that I could make FP+ reservations for my DH for our Sept trip. The CM could not explain why the rest of our family could make FP+ reservations for both the July and September stay while my DH could not. We are all on both reservations and all have AP's linked.

Just a "glitch" that only affects some people, which can be fixed, but it is still a pain when things don't work as advertised :(

I am going for 13days but only with a 10 day ticket (3 off days). 2 if my days will be day 12 and 13. Will it let me book the entire 13 day trip with my 10 day ticket (leaving some days with no FP selection)
