FP+ 60 days window question

We are staying onsite August 3-6 2014 but we’re only planning one MK day on August 5th. I really want my oldest to see A&E so I will set my alarm to be at my computer at midnight when my 60 days window opens. But when does my window open? 60 days before August 3rd or 60 days before August 5th? I will purchase a will-call 1 day ticket online in May for all of us and link them to MDE.

If you are staying at a Disney owned and operated resort or the Swan/Dolphin, you can make FP+ selections for the length of your reservation beginning at 60 days from check-in.

That would be awesome! Even if I only have a 1-day ticket and not a 3 days tickets that covers the whole length of my stay?

Since you would only have a 1 day ticket, you might be limited to FP+ selections for 1 day. I'm not really sure as we have APs.

I have been able to book Anna and Elsa's meet for my June stay fairly easily..but it wasn't available for the first few days of my stay. If I were you, I would try each day of your stay....you will have a one day pass, so I can't imagine how Disney would know which specific say you want to use it. Try to book the meet and greet the first day you are eligible to do so...60 days out from Aug 3. If that doesn't work, try 60 days out from Aug 4. If that doesn't work you should be able to book it 60 days from the date you want it...Aug 5.
But, you may be able to book Aug 5 60 days prior to Aug 3. I have an AP so am able to make FP+ for all my days..but dd has just a 7 day hopper...need to add 2 days to it when we get there. BUT....I was able to make her FP+ for a day that will be added on later. I just didn't make any FP+ choices for her for one day during the first 7 of our stay.
