Do they every any good deals for an overnight stay? Want to take my mom after christmas

i've found that the best deals are on the hotels surrounding foxwoods. Foxwoods itself is very pricey

I agree with the PP. Weekends are crazy expensive, but sometimes you can get a good rate during the week. I think there is an option on their website to get emails. But, you may need to be a Dream Rewards member.

I just booked for 11/27 @ MGM Grand for $89 with AAA discount.

Go to www.foxwoods.com and under accomodations you will see the option "rooms at a glance" (or something like that) and it will pull up a calendar that will show you the cheapest rates going out 2 months at a time. You can narrow it down to a specific hotel if you want. I've stayed at all the hotels and like them all for what they offer. If you stay at Two trees, they have a shuttle that will bring you to the casino. They decorate the Inn beautifully at Christmas. They also have a nice place to eat. Especially breakfast. The casino hotels, Cedars & Pequot are nice bc you don't have to go outside and plenty of places to dine. MGM is gorgeous, however there is about a 5-10 min.indoor stroll to the casino from the hotel. There are shops and treats along the way along with places to sit and relax.

We usually go and play BINGO if you think mom might be interested in that they offer it twice a day. Lot of fun. Enjoy:cool1:

Find a buddy that has points there, and have them get you the room. They give it to them dirt cheap, and you can work a deal with your friend? I did that at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

I was thinking the same when I saw this post. I have stayed at the MGM grand next to foxwoods for about 100 dollas a night...it is a great hotel ALOT nicer and Newer than the foxwoods rooms...the hotel is attatched to foxwoods...

Looking for a hotel near foxwoods that offers a shuttle, anyone?

As I mentioned in the previous reply, The Two Trees Hotel offers a shuttle and it's a Foxwoods Hotel so you would get points by staying there if you are a card holder. There is a Comfort Inn that we've stayed at (I believe it is on Whitehall) that is nice but not sure about shuttle. Most of the time though, a reduced rate at Foxwoods itself is about the same as staying offsite.

Just looked at their website: They are offering rooms at Two Trees for as low as $69/nite to $119 @ MGM over the next few weeks during the week.:cool1:
