Fox News is reporting a Disney bus crash at Epcot?

I hope everyone comes out ok. Mistakes happen all the time, and I agree with the one above posting, Disney seems to have a pretty good transportation track record.

I don't get to concerned when we leave the park at night and we have to stand. If there are standing people, the bus is always going a lot slower and being even more careful. Plus your supposed to hold on tight! I also believe young people like me should be letting small children and really old people sit first. I will gladly give up my seat for the mom with the sleeping kid on her shoulder!

But like I said, accidents happen all the time. At least everyone is so far ok, and hopefully they will be more careful next time!

Maybe the charter bus driver wasn't at fault. Love people who jump to conclusions.

Could it be the bus was stalled and maybe the disney driver wasn't paying attention?

We won't (if ever) know who was at fault until the investigation is done !!!

Hopefully it's a no fault accident!! But legally, if it was broken down or not, the bus stopped in a through lane is at fault if I'm not mistaken. I'm not saying the Disney driver is right, but from a legal stand point.

That's like if someone completely cuts you off and then you rear end them. It should be the jerk that cut you off, but in the long run, you rear ended so it's your fault. All these driving laws, lol.

I don't mind standing, cause I just usually plop myself down on the floor... Maybe it's not so easy for you older folks...

It's crazy that it happened, cause depending on which direction of world drive the disney bus was coming from, he could've been going 35-55mph. The buses have to take a pretty set route, like which lane they have to be in going down the road. So it's no surprise why the bus was on the far right of the road (to enter the bus area). But I just can't imagine why he wouldn't notice a completely stopped vehicle (flashers or not). And it's not like the bus just decided to come to a complete stop right in front of him, obviously, the bus was there a lot long than him coming down the road.

WDW transportation is where Nascar drivers go to retire.

I hope everyone is okay.

I'm not sure what your smiley means, but if a runs into, essentially, a brick wall, not many people are going to be able to hold on.

I had heard that the Mears bus broke down too and that the driver was waiting for help. I don't see anything else that the Mears driver could have done.

But there is something the Disney driver could have done... not run into the giant bus stopped in his lane!

It's not like the Mears bus came to a sudden stop and the Disney bus didn't have time to avoid the crash. The Mears driver put flashers on and was outside of the bus.

I hope and pray that the Disney driver fully recovers. But I think it's safe for us to conclude fault, prior to the official investigation. The crash was caused by the one who ran into the giant bus in front of him.

If a bus breaks down, it breaks down... sometimes that might be in the middle lane.

It's the responsibility of ANY driver to not hit debris in the road. Sometimes you truly can't avoid it (say, if something just flew out of another vehicle), but pretty much no matter what happens you're supposed to have given yourself enough room between vehicles to be able to stop your vehicle in time.

A big honking BUS?

Hope the driver recovers swiftly and everybody else is fine, too, but some 'splainin' needs to be done...

OK, the bus stops running without warning....I get it, get out and push. right.

My dad rear ended someone once. The cop told him he is required to have control of his vehicle at all times.

True they wouldn't be able to hold on. But if they were to hit, let's say that brick wall, people wouldn't be able to sit in their seats either.
