Four seasons resort

We are staying at the new FS in October also, and will report back. It does look very nice. I'm excited to stay at a brand new resort, and hoping the location, facilities and service will justify the price (although the promotional deal for the third night free made the overall price much more tolerable).
I don't think there really are too many Disney perks that we will enjoy, but we'll see!

if I'm paying that kind of money for a hotel room, I feel better knowing I will get the top notch 5 star service, food and luxury of the Four Seasons resort

we've had wonderful experiences with them in the past at other locations

I am happily envious of you if that makes any sense Our next trip down to Orlando is for a 1 week cruise. That with the cost of the flights, the excursions we want to do, the premium drink package my hubby wants, the shopping I want, the Four Seasons won't fit into the next trip budget. That will have to wait until we do a Disney only trip instead of trying to budget 2 trips in one if that makes sense.

I am sure you will have an amazing time in November. Hopefully you will be kind enough to post pictures of the resort when you return and I will continue to dream

So anyone back with a trip report. I'm back from 5 nights at VWL club level and kicking myself for not staying at the Four Seasons, I'm so over Disney resorts and the amount of people at them! I'm probably the only person on he planet that was not impressed with "Club Level"!! Would love to hear more about this resort, thinking for 25 wedding anniversary in early June heading down, was going to stay at the Poly, but just don't see the value in it.

I stayed there about a month ago. Room was very LARGE and beautiful, view was fantastic, boutique had expensive stuff but was very nice. It was nice to shop without only logo merchandise to pick from!! Room had chargers for every electronic thing there is - IPhones, IPad, etc. LOVED the bathroom - so spacious!
Shuttle to theme parks every hour which was a convenience. Restaurant was noisy and VERY expensive (think close to $100 with a glass of wine per person).
The other restaurant on the main floor was very so so and not much variety of offerings on the menu at all. Wait staff at both restaurants were great.

Service was excellent and people were very helpful and not snobish at all. Property is very large and expansive with lots of 'to do' places ie. pools, lazy river, play areas, basketball areas etc. Only detriment I saw was $1000 a day for room! this was NOT a club room either. I do agree that WDW club accommodations are hardly worth it anymore. We were at the GF 2 years ago @ $800 per night and frankly - never again. It was a club floor room with polyester blend sheeting (Not legitimate sheets at all - think sheeting with brown thread and 1/2 inch hem) Dirty drapes, minimal club food offerings, furniture that has seen better days, you get it.

Thanks for the honest report, I was so disappointed in CL at WL, I'm far from fussy, was a DVC owner for 11 years and sold as the kids got older, but the room was tiny, and your right about the bedding, sheets, towels, etc. enclosed porch did nothing to add to the experience ( I knew going in it was enclosed, but didn't realize you had to stand to see over the railing), CL CM's were spotty and many had an attitude, and the food, I wasn't impressed with at all, I expected some Disney Magic in the presentation and nothing!! For 550-650 a night expected much more. I can get Four Seasons for about 600 a night for when I want to go so may give it a shot!! Love Disney, but need to get away from the crowd/mob mentality that so often rears its ugly head!!!

Forgot this! Do it! you won't regret it. Very nice for a change too. One thing I
forgot which is a negative, Our room (10th floor) was quite noisy. There
was a family next door and could practically hear the conversation! As they retired early I wasn't disturbed, but if they were late people it would have REALLY been a negative (yes it was that loud)
Also the higher the room the better the view!

We stayed at the Four Seasons WDW in October. It was AMAZING!

Food was fantastic (we ate in the lobby restaurant {I can't recall the name} twice and the outdoor restaurant by the pool. Both were outstanding. Breakfast for room service was delicious.

My dd LOVED the water park. Kept her busy for a few hours. I LOVED the covered sofas (not sure what the correct term is for these design masterpieces) by the pool. I could have stayed there for hours (and would have if it hadn't started raining). Both of us had a blast in the lazy river (not so lazy in parts!!).

The room was a dream. Beautifully decorated and spacious. We had a theme park room view, but the fireworks appeared quite far in the distance and we could not hear the music. I probably wouldn't pay the extra for this view next time.

The one main negative is the cancellation policy. FIVE days prior to arrival. This is a MAJOR drawback IMHO. Our plans can (and often do change) in the 5 days leading to the trip (we live in FL), so this will be a barrier for us in the future. They also require a rather hefty deposit paid on booking (I think 2 nights accommodation). These are not flexible and is chain-wide as far as I can tell (we also have a booking at the FS Nevis in April and they have the exact same requirements).

I would likely stay here again if I was certain that my plans weren't going to change.

My only regret with the Four Seasons Orlando is that we didn't spend more time enjoying the resort. It's absolutely gorgeous. The staff was super - everyone from the valets, to the wait staff to the housekeepers. I follow them on Instagram so I can get my FS fix. LOL

We arranged airport transportation through the Four Seasons concierge. It was $145 round trip including the tip. When we pulled up to the hotel, we were greeted at the door by a staffer who checked us in and escorted us up to our room and pointed out all the features. It really was five star treatment. The bathroom has a tv in the mirror!! I miss being able to watch SportsCenter while I dry my hair. LOL. The room had a mini fridge too. Great for keeping the bottles of water that housekeeping leaves every night cold.

We had a park view room on the 16th floor. Wowza. What a view! You can see the pools, Explorer Island and the tall bits of all four parks. We watched the fireworks from our balcony one night. Really beautiful. No, you can't hear the music. But you also don't have to fight a crowd. You are already home! You can see the Four Seasons on the monorail into Magic Kingdom. It is really stunning at night.

The pools are amazing. We spent time at the family pool even though we don't have kids. It was quiet and the children were well behaved. We rode the lazy river and the water slides. So fun!! We had two great lunches at PB&G. The pool staff is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. They come around every so often with complimentary snacks.

We had lunch one afternoon at Plancha, the Cuban restaurant at the golf course. Delicious! The cubano sandwich was excellent. One of the valets took us over there in a golf cart and pointed out the resort mascots, Gary the alligator who lives in the pond and Charlotte, the doe. They named the Kids for All Seasons mascot Gary after the real alligator!

We had breakfast every morning in Ravello. Definitely grab a mini nutella bombolini from the buffet before they are all gone! Thursday and Saturdays they have a character breakfast with Goofy, Mickey and Minnie. There is a PhotoPass photographer there and the photo downloads are free.

Having a dedicated Disney desk was really helpful for Disney newbies like us. They set up our magic bands and recommended restaurants. Park transportation is a quiet, clean coach bus that still has that new clean bus smell - not a packed full of sweaty and cranky tourists smell. They hand out a schedule every morning so it was easy to plan our return trips to the resort at night. We didn't have EMH but I never felt like I was missing out. We rode and saw everything we wanted in the "common people" hours. LOL. That FP+ app is so awesome!

We especially loved the Late Departure Lounge. Our flight was delayed for 2 hours so being able to stay on property a little longer and still use the gym, the locker room, read and watch some tv in peace and quiet was really a treat.

When we go back, we will schedule less park days and more enjoying the pool, spa and gym days.
