does Magical Express go to the Four Seasons?? I know that the rooms are $600+ but we will be there for business briefly but was wondering about transportation from airport.

No, but they will arrange a car service for you upon request.

i cked and cha ching! $85 plus gratuity EACH way!!

Mears charges $85 for one way town car transportation. I think other, comparable, companies charge about the same.

Smaller companies, many owner operated, who market to vacationers charge a little less.

I suspect GF concierge guests who ask the hotel to recommend a car service pay about the same.

People looking for a bargain won't be staying at the Four Seasons.

I knew Four Seasons would be expensive. However, I think if you can afford Four Seasons, you could probably afford a transportation service.

Does Four Seasons guests get EMH?

A friend called their conceirge and was told that the offer a lot of similar things to what Disney offers, but they cannot offer the EMH.

They do have a shuttle van that takes you to all the parks and leaves every 1/2 hour.

Hmm. They say they offer a lot of things similar to what Disney offers. Yet, they don't offer Magical Express or EMH. What else could they offer unique? I can't imagine magic bands or FP+ at 60 days.

Or am I wrong? (Which isn't unusual.)

I booked a room for January for $589 it's a bed and breakfast package (no it's not cheap) I mainly wanted to try this resort because I have stayed at every resort on disney property over the years including DTD this will be my 50th wedding anniversary we wanted something special as well as different we enjoy staying at four seasons in a few different locations and decided to try the disney experience here's what the conformation stated DISNEY PLANNING CENTER The Disney Planning Center, conveniently located near the front desk on the Resort’s lobby level, is a one-stop central hub where you can seamlessly organize your entire Disney experience. Re airport transportation: We've used and really liked Orlando Airport Towncar Service. They are $60 each way and will do a grocery stop.

Hearts gave you some information. To summarize: Four Seasons has a character breakfast 2 (or 3) times a week. You can have your in park purchases sent back to your hotel. A Disney CM will assist you with tickets and restaurant reservations. The concierge at 5* hotels can generally get last minute restaurant reservations at hard to get restaurants. I wonder if there will be some extra availability. Telling a guest at a 5* resort they needed to make their restaurant reservations 6 months before their trip isn't good customer service.

Not sure if the Four Seasons even tried to get EMH. Free shuttle bus service from MCO isn't the kind of amenity I'd expect from a 5* hotel.

No, no FP at 60 days...yet. I am interested to see what they do with this though, if they work with Disney to get this.

I am sure they wish to 'elevate' this hotel/experience above any now at Disney (including the GF) Although the rates are very comparable to GF even now. We will be there the end of October , if questions aren't answered by then I will give you my 'take' on the experience. we will be there for 3 days for a business meeting. It also appears to me to focus primarily on adults vs. children although they do meet some of those needs also. I am sure they also don't want every tourist driving up and down Golden Oaks residential properties either. It will be tough even with Gate Guards to manage the 'snoopers.!!

Wow - explorer island looks amazing!

It does, doesn't it? Unless, of course, you have a short 6 year old who doesn't meet the 48" height requirement for the water slide :sad1: I thought the FS was going to be perfect for our family -- super nice accommodations for parents, fun water area for son. Instead, I'd have one pretty disappointed kid. Glad I called ahead of time!

We took a run over yesterday to take a look. The hotel is just beautiful it has an adult only pool, a family pool and lazy river and a large splash area with 2 waterslides.
We had dinner and thought the prices for The Four Seasons were not too bad, what took us by surprise was DH had an ice tea and I had a Coke they were $6. each.
Disney prices for ice tea and soda seem very reasonable now. :rotfl2:
