Four Seasons Resort Club Aviara

Has anyone used points for the Four Seasons Resort Club Aviara? We are thinking of going in August and would appreciate any feedback on this resort.

Four Seasons Resort, Aviara is a wonderful place. The villas are beautiful, and they include daily maid service. If you want to go in August, good luck. That is racing season in Del Mar, (just down the coast) and Aviara is often booked with their own owners.
That said, if you are lucky enough to get a reservation, you won't regret it. There is a lot to do in the area, the resort is beautiful, and it is also very child friendly. Give it a try, but try to book NOW!

The Four Season Residence Club Aviara is great.

The Residence Club occupancy is usually at capacity during the summer. In fact, last summer they gave exclusive owners’ only rates at the Four Seasons Resort for owners who wanted to visit over the summer since there wasn't availability at the Residence Club.

I'm sure you can use points for any other time of the year. However if you want to go in August another option would be to rent from an owner who has already reserved a summer week. For rentals try http://www.tug2.net or www.myresortnetwork.com

FYI... Based on an old thread it looks like availability for Four Seasons Aviara for May 2005 was made available thru II in May 2004 (a year in advance).
