Hi Everyone,

Location-4018 W Vine Street Kissimmee

Has anyone stayed here? Any and all reviews would be
greatly appreciated.

P.S. Is this a different hotel than Four Points Sheraton Lakeside?

Thanks
Tracy

I vaguely remember staying here about a year ago. I didn't find problems with it. Nothing really stands out in my mind about it, though. That must be good! :)

My dad used to live close by and we have stayed all over kissimmee. We really liked this Four Points we got either a king or a queen bed plus a sofa in our room with microwave and a fridge. The furniture was well kept, the bathrooms were big and the room was always clean. There is a Red Lobster next door that you could walk to.This hotel is right in the middle of everything in kissimmee. We stayed here about 4 different times and we always had a great experience. If we had to stay in kissimmee this is where we would definately stay!!

I forgot to mention this is a different property from Four Points lakeside. We once booked it by mistake and even though I explained we needed to stay at west vine st to be close to my father's hospital they still charged us for the night. The lady working the front desk at west vine street felt sorry for us ,because of this incident that she gave us the best room and lowered our rate.

HI Bridgettesmom,
Thank you very much for the information. I am still thinking
about what we are going to do. I really liked this hotel in the
brochour(sp?) we got from our TA.

Do you know if all the rooms have balconys?
Thanks again.
Tracy

We stayed in this hotel for a night or two last year. I booked it because it was SPG category 1 so I was able to get it for only 2000 points for a weekend night. Before booking I had asked for information about it on this board but didn't get much feed back either.

Anyway, I found that the hotel was fine. The pool area was nice and our room had a patio connecting to the pool area. I think that this is the nicer building.

It is not an upscale resort and is a little unasuming from the street. It is about 15 minutes from WDW. Parking was a bit tight

I recall the room being clean, with a small refrigerator in the bathroom. A typical moderate hotel.

If you go to the site www.spg.com you can do a search for this hotel and will be given pertinent details.

With all that being said, I need to book one night for this summer and am not sure if I will book this hotel again. It was serviceable but nothing special. If they were offering a very good rate I might stay there again but am looking at alternatives. I just looked at the web site for next July and a room with 2 double beds and a pull out couch is $119. This is more than I think the hotel is worth.

If I can be of further help let me know.

Steve

That four poinst is nice but a bit farther from the parks than other hotels. As was mentioned before, there is a Red Lobster right next door and a Friendly's across the street. The hotel also has a great (but pricey) italian resturant in it named Tarentino's (which is a favorite where I work). If you don't mind the traffic on 192, it wouldn't be a bad place to stay.

No ,no balconies..it is more like a motel type corridor. I agree with windjammer, I hope you are not paying $119 for the room ,definately not worth it . We used to pay from $50-$60. Also, if you are looking for a resort type atmosphere try the Radisson Resort Parkway. You could get a room for around $70-$90 .
