Yes I think I need some tissues, I honestly feel so sad!
I believe they offered chief to Archie after Pratt died.

Dr Banfield....is that Angela Bassetts character? I don't know anybody's name except for the ones from 3 or 5 seasons ago. And I do remember the red-bearded guys name.

No, I mean Morris (sp). Or should I say Morrass. :rotfl2: I kinda like him.

But I totally remember Romano. I loved him and so did DH. He was such a total jerk except for when it counted. When they killed him off, it was the beginning of the end for us.

Oh, ok sorry. I liked Romano to. Once on a while he would piss me off, but overall I really liked him. I loved the time he signed to Dr. Bentons son.

I loved that moment too. He could be such an *** and then turn around and melt your heart. I think he was one of favs of all time.

I gotta go. Kids have school tomorrow and I'm not so good at getting up early. :lmao:

Talk to you later!!!

Night!

Good Morning,

Watched ER last night and actually didn't fall asleep. I was surprised to see Rachel and Reese come back. Very nice touch.
Cried when that older couple was on and when the lady died.

It was so touching.
Also, when that mother gave birth to twins and died later.

OMG... I was a mess. When she said she had boys at home and now finally got the girls I could totally relate to her. Sometimes I think it would be great to have another- especially a little girl. However would not want the DYING & MASSIVE BLEEDING part.

We're supposed to get more snow today and Sunday. :headache:What's up with that??? ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! BRING ON SPRING!!!!

I agree especially since you would have massive bleeding and then die. Sorry, couldn't resist..reminds me of "I'll shoot myself then I'll shoot you" kind of statement. :flower3:
Feeling fine today of course, since most of the loss was water, most of the weight is back.
I don't make ADRs, too much bother for food. We did manage to get a reservation the same day for Restaurant Marrakesh on the last trip.

Good evening ladies!

Just finished watching a Totally Rad 80's movie with my DH and DS11! I love sharing those moives with DS11. The movie is Real Genius with Val Kilmer. I thought he was so HOT when I first saw that movie!

DS11 is getting his Junior Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate-do in a Black Belt Ceremony taking place tomorrow morning. We plan on celebrating with dinner at our favorite Chinese Buffet Restaurant tomorrow night.

I watched some of the final ER last night. I use to watch the reruns on TBS when the kids were smaller. The episode I remember the most was when Dr. Carter and a female doctor were stabbed by a guy at the hospital. I remember the cliff hanger being that we didn't see the woman get stabbed but we did see Dr. Carter get stabbed and when he fell to the floor he saw the woman on the floor allready stabbed. Thank goodness they were repeats so I was able to see the next episode right away and not have to wait all summer for the new episodes to start. I also saw the episode where Dr. Green died. I totally bawled during that one.

Hope you all are having a good night!

I forgot to note that DS11 will also be inducted into Doshi Kai which is a dojo honor society.

Good morning!!!! Super super windy here again. They have a wind advisory out. I just can't believe how bad the weather has been here so far this year. I don't think we've had 2 days of nice weather in a row yet.

Pikester, Congrats to your DS. That is a great accomplishment. Mmmm, Chinese. We have a Chinese buffet close to here to we go to often. With DS, buffets are the only way to go with us. :lmao: They even have crab legs on their menu. Let's just say we get our money's worth on them alone.

I missed the retrospective special that was broadcast before the season finale of ER. Does anyone know if it's online somewhere?

I remember all those episodes you talked about. In all the years that I did watch, I think I spent most of my time in tears or in jaw-dropping shock. ER was one of the few shows that caused me to talk to the tv. :rotfl:

DL55, glad you are feeling better. :flower3: I've been fortunate that I've never had food poisoning (knock on wood).

D&D, I had to walk out of the room when the pregnant woman and babies scene was on. I just couldn't take it. I really liked that the finale encompassed so much of the previous seasons. So many of the story lines were the same to a point. Brought back a lot of great memories.

Congrats to DS! That is so great!!!
I wish my family would eat Chinese. I am the only one so I have to sneak some take out on my lunch at work. It is sooooo good. :cloud9: I love the spicey stuff. It's got to be spicey enough to clear my nasal passages, then I know its good stuff. :thumbsup2

I am sure its out there on line somewhere. We taped it to watch later cause the kids were still up when it was on. Unfortunately, we haven't watched it yet. Gotta do that tonight.
I was looking at the qualifying for the race and I knew I should have picked Paul Menard in my C group. We got to meet him this week at a new Menards store Grand Opening. He signed autographs for the kids and we got their picture taken w/ him. Told him he needs to do well this weekend. Well... I guess I should have trusted him and picked him cause he qualified 5th. D'oh!

My DS6 is going to be writing a report for school in the next month or so. He has to do it on a state. Since every kid in that class will be picking WI I told him he should pick another state. I told him I have friends in other states who might be able to help him out with his research. He has tentatively picked PA since it has the Liberty Bell  and we hope to go there this summer.

So.... Could anyone in PA could help us out by getting him some travel/tourist brouchers, postcards or any other brouchers that would help a 6 year old write a small report and have props? Thanks! :worship:

D&D, you got to meet Paul Menard!! How cool. I always loved meeting the drivers. I always felt you could tell a lot about them by how the interacted with their fans. We've met quite a few over the years and some were definitely better than others.

Sure, I'll help out. I'll pm you in a minute.

Pikester congrats to your DS!!! That's awesome!

Racetrack the wind here has been amazing too. I was driving today and could feel the difference when we were on our way back, with the wind in front of us. Instead of pushing us down the road, it was pushing against us. I could literally FEEL it! Hope it calms down.

MagiKitty I was up your way today! Had to bring DS up to tour the camp he'll be going to this summer. It's in Rhinebeck, near Kingston. It's a camp for kids with ADHD and other similar issues. It is AWESOME! He's really excited to go, which is good, since he's going for 5 weeks! :rotfl: Best part is, is only 30 minutes from DD's camp, so dropping them off and picking them up will be easy.

Tomorrow is DD's first comptetive swim meet--it's the Area Meet, about 40 minutes from here (more driving, ugh). I think it's Monmouth and Ocean County, and maybe one or 2 more groups, but it's small. The bigger one is in 3 weeks, down in south Jersey, and then of course the state-wide Special Olympics in June is the really big deal. I hope she does as well tomorrow as she did in the meet that was just her team!

Well, I'm off to make dinner. Tuna and a salad...how exciting! But DS is making his own eggs, so I'm off the hook there.

Good evening Tkers. Hope all is well with everyone. Lazy day around here. Slept in, got up talked to DH some, watched some tv-and took another nap! Got up made my "disney letters" for my sisters kids. Every time we go I write a letter to them from their current favorite disney character. Made dinner, got DH off to work and now it's computer time!

You got to take a nap?! Lucky!!!

I got to sleep in kinda today. Except for DD7 waking me up at 8am to ask if she could watch tv. Told her to go back to bed and ready until I got up.

So, who are the favorite characters?

I did, it's rare, even for me. But boy did it feel nice! They boys were easy-I made Aedan's from Mickey mouse as he loves Mickey mouse clubhouse. I made Ryan's from Ariel since he always calls her his girlfriend!!! Erin-now she's a toughie, she just turned 10 so she is "too cool" for the princesses anymore, but to young to have a real favorite character. So I made hers from Hannah Montana.

Aww, that's so sweet. Are you going to try to visit Ariel's Grotto while you are there? We took the girls 2 years ago and Ariel was great. She spent a lot of time just chatting with the kids.

DD7 is the only one who has kept the same favorite, Jasmine, since she picked one. DD5 alternates and she never liked a "real" princess. It was always Mulan and Pocahontas. Took me forever to find those 2 costumes. :rotfl:
