Hi Race, does seem a little slow tonight. I haven't really been on the other threads, I am kind of too afraid! The other day I started a thread asking of anyone possibly knew when May hours would be posted, and could they let me know to help us out, someone replied quoting only the "does anyone know when May hours will be out" part and said yes.

You need to say that you heard that starting May 1st, the hours were being cut, There would be no fireworks due to the 7pm closings. Then someone would say no the hours are not posted until Feb ---? or something like that. You need to make your questions more controversial. Get with the program...

LITC, I think I read that they would not release the hours until the 90 day mark to go along with the new 90 day ADR requirements.

Yes, we are going. I ended up deciding that I needed to take a break from mainly the stress of work. So we are going to spend time with family and enjoy Disney. I know it is not the best for my wallet, but I really am looking forward to getting away.

May should be a good time to go...not too hot yet. A friend emailed me from FL complaining she had a jacket, jeans and flip flops on. I think she was near Tampa. I emailed he back that I didn't want to hear complaints. It was only 23 here.

Hey Race, I heard Jeffie visited a little guy at the Phila Childrens Hospital. He has a bone growth problem. Jeffie gave him a lot of stuff and the little guy won't let anyone touch it. They said how good Jeffie was with him.

That's cute about Jeffie. Nascar drivers always seem like they are less stuck up than most other sports stars.

And tell your friend to hush. That's just mean to complain to you about the weather down there. I bet her jacket was a nice little spring one too.

I think it might be the 90 day thing to. Which I think totally sucks since ADR's and such are already so hard to get, and now that it's so close, to when we are leaving it makes it even harder to get prepared.

Yeah, I am really looking forward to just getting away. I have already thought of some ways to save some money down there. We are not getting the dining plan, we are taking a set amount of spending money and sticking to it. I am planning on taking more snacks with us. So hopefully we will be so busy having fun, we won't even notice the corners we are cutting!

I would love it if it is not too hot in May, I like hot weather but standing in long lines in the heat, sucks.

I have never been in May before, I am excited to cross another moth to visit off my list!! Eventually I will have been in all 12 months!

Cool to hear about the childrens hospital. That is the best thing about celebrities in my opinion, when they use it to actually make someone elses life better.

Ice water is free at counter service places. I always take the single serve drink mixes with me and use those. I don't want the kids to drink soda all the time there and those work perfectly.

There are also a couple of places where the counter service meals are big enough to split. We did that last year too and just got an extra side order with it.

I wouldn't worry too much about your ADRs. Everyone has to wait so you'll still be on a level playing field. Are you going in the beginning or end of the month?

Beginning, we actually are checking in on May 1. A little over 100 days away. I can't believe it is so close.

I feel like a million things are going on in the next few months, I am tired just thinking about it.

Beginning of May will make it harder but not impossible when it comes to ADRs. Any ideas where you want to eat?

We need an ADR for chef mickeys breakfast for my nephews birthday, my sister and her kids want Cindy's--which is impossible since they are still booked from the 180 days out. We are also going to try for Biergarten for a lunch. Not sure if we will do any others. I would kind of like to try Brown Derby, but price wise I think we may have to skip it.

Chef Mickey's will be hard to get for sure. But if you are looking for a princess meal, Akershus is nice. We've done both a dinner and breakfast there. Was kind of cool walking through Epcot with no one there.

I thought Biergarten always looked like fun.

Germany is the only nice place I have eaten at and I loved it.

I'm going to bed too. Just don't worry about the trip. Just go with the idea of a relaxing time. It sounds like it's just what you need.
