Morning!!!

Magikitty, got the same weather here. Lots of sun and a pretty blue sky but cold as heck. It's suppose to reach the 40's here so a little better off than your weather. But I still want some really warm temps.

I was looking around Amazon last night and I decided I really want a Kindle. It's that wireless reading thing that they came out with. I am running out of room for all my books and this might just be the solution. Does anyone have one or know someone who has one?

:scared1: You mean you won't be holding a read book in your hands? :scared1: (once a librarian, always a librarian)

I know, I know. I love my books. I'm just running out of room to put them all. And I can't just borrow books from the library since I also re-read a lot of them.

I LOVE my Kindle!! It is the coolest thing ever! The way I read books (or rather, inhale them), I figure it will pay for itself in under a year, since you pay less for a Kindle book than a regular one. Not to mention saving the environment! Millions of trees will be spared! i am looking forward to taking it on vacation in place of my usual stack of books. What WILL I do with all that extra space in my luggage???

Go for it Racetrack!

The Kindle sounds like a great idea.I don't think I'll get one though, I really like reading from a book. I have trouble reading text on a computer. :sad2:

MagiKitty I don't swim well either..that will be DH's task. Driving a stick shift is a dying art...but we both can do that. :thumbsup2

It seems that more parents believe their child can do no wrong. It's usually those children that are the worst behaved. When I was young, adult statements were believed over children.

Ev, are there more episodes of ER left? Was this the last one? Do you know how many more?

I was going to say 3 or 4 but I see MK knew the answer...loved see Doug & Carol and I agree with MK on Benton he looked odd.

I watched the last half of Grey's too. It looks like they're going to kill off **** (in case someone didn't want to know). I'm glad. **** hasn't had a decent storyline in a while.

Rumor has it that George will be joining **** in the unemployment line...**** has apparently become quite a prima donna and hard to work with.

Yeah, so I've seen **** do a few interviews and she doesn't come off as personable. I think she wants to be self-deprecating, but its more like snooty.

Ok, so its probably my fault that I use Cosmo's beside astrologer as my calendar. Maybe I shouldn't. But I like knowing my love and my lust days! So I'm looking at my March dates and cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong. Everyone is saying is Friday the 13th, isn't it weird to have two one after the other? And I'm going, "HUH?" my calendar says its the 14th (and its a lust day for Scorpios). I look, really look, at the calendar and realize the days don't match up! Its printed completely off by one day! :lmao:

Luckily, April is fine (I think) so I've made my flight/hotel/car ressies for the correct dates. I will have to double check though.

What did you think of ER last night? I read the thread on here about it and a lot of people said they didn't think it was that good. Me....I liked it. But then, I haven't seen it since the originals were on. It was nice to see them again.

Race!! I knew you would be here!! I liked ER also. I think they could have done a bit more with those characters storylines, but after all it was just one show.

See, I haven't watched any before last night so I have nothing to judge it by. I did see some people complaining about Benton being an a**. But wasn't he always? At least that what I remember from the beginning.

I have watced ER from the beginning except for a short time when I was PO'd at the show for killing Dr. Green.
And yes Benton was always a um... big meanie. And I actually didn't think he was that bad, after all him interjecting in the OR ended up saving Carters life. And I would have been PO'd again if they had brought him back then killed him off.

I really thought they were going to kill off Carter and that's how they were bringing everyone back. Glad I was wrong about that.

ER is the only show that has ever made me cry hysterically.

And I can't hear that version of "over the rainbow" without thinking of Dr. Greene. :sad1:

You know, I actually kind of thought that as well.

You are right about that song, there is some videos, I think on youtube where you can watch sections of that show, like the part where his wife comes in and finds him, and sends the letter to the ER. SOOOOO gald I was home alone when I came across those, Hubby would have thought I was nuts-o

I was also wondering why they are having Neela leave next week.
And I had read that they were going to write her pregnancy (for real) into the show, but they haven't at least this far...

Yep, I cried in that one too. DH was with me but since he always watched in with me, he understood. Thank goodness.

The episode that really got me was the one where Dr. Greene had to do the emergency C-section and he saved the baby but the mom died. I was about 8 months pregnant with my first at that time. I totally lost it. I scared the crap out of DH too. I tried watching that episode since then and didn't even make it through half way.

Oh man, that would have been really scary to watch. My husband is very squeemish so lots of things on ER and other medical shows gross him out. He will watch with me sometimes, but not all the time.
And right now he isn't even home at that time of the day.
