Four days, no parks - Anyone ever do this?

Our last two trips to WDW were pretty filled mostly with going to parks. There is SO MUCH MORE I want to do at WDW. I could spend a couple of days just exploring the resorts. And there is so much to do at FW.

Anybody else every do this?

I was also thinking of staying at a moderate resort this time. I've always stayed at the CR or WL, but after my last experience at the WL, I'm wondering if it worth the money anymore. :confused3

Anyway, I am just tossing this idea around. :rolleyes1

Well we decided to add a whole 6 nights to our WDW vacation. The first 6 days are booked as room only. We are going to do our plusses from our leftover hopper passes, we will resort hop, visit Fort Wilderness, the boardwalk, and watch wishes from the Poly beach.

My kids love WDW but were always wondering if they could spend a couple of days doing NO Parks......Well, we decided on doing just that.

My package for room, tickets and meal plan takes effect on the 27th. From then on...it's PARKS, PARKS,PARKS.:cool1:

BABYJOSIE98 and nluvwithmickey! Excellent plans!

We did a week in Sept (between hurricanes) and we were able to walk right on every ride. We just did a week at the begining of June and we got on some rides (but not a lot because of the tremendous crowds!). So I've been on almost everything very recently.

I want to see everything else! :Pinkbounc

Holy cow! I didn't even THINK of Downtown Disney! :earseek:

Ohhh! All the things I have been missing!

Ha...that's just

HAHAHHAHAHAHA

I could never pull that off...let me know if you manage it!!

I am sure there is plenty of things to do to fill 4 days without going to the parks, but that being said, I could not be soooo close and not actually at least go to MK.

Heck, when we took our cruise last year we ended up adding a day on to go to MK. Couldn't be in FL without going to WDW!

We're headed down there next month, with that exact plan. DH will be in meetings all day. We're vacation club members, so the kids and I could have sat home and done nothing or gone to WDW, too. Since it'll be HOT and I won't have DH during the day, the kids and I plan to pool hop and just hang out. My younger son is taking one of the pirate cruises, but other than that, we've got nothin'.
