DAY ONE

We had a pre cruise stay at the Grand Floridian. We arranged a town car it arrived at the port around eleven am. The line was not long and we were soon in the terminal. We were staying on the concierge floor, so we checked in and after a short wait boarded after the family of the day. We went to the concierge lounge and had snacks and wine while they went over our itinerary. We then went to cabanas for lunch. DH loved the seafood and large shrimp. Our stateroom was ready and our one bedroom suite was more than enough space for three adults: me, DH, and DD. We spent the afternoon by the adult pool. It was very nice but there was a constant stream of people walking by us to get to the other pools. Two children went in the adult pool, but were directed to the other pools by castmembers. The fire drill was easy but a long walk from deck 12 to deck 4 and back up again. Nice not to have to wear life jackets. We had dinner at Enchanted Garden. We had a booth which was nice. The first night the service was slow but it improved over the cruise. The food was excellent. We looked around the shops but it was very busy the first night. We went to The Golden Mickeys. We sat in the balcony and had a great view.We liked the preshow which was very funny. After a busy day we went to bed early as I planned to be on my verandah for sunrise.:)

Day 2 I was up early and saw the sun rise from my balcony. It was nice and quiet. We all enjoyed watching the boat come in to Nassau. We went to Atlantis on our first cruise and planned to stay on the ship today. We had breakfast in the concierge lounge. Our plan was to try the Aquaduck. It was lots of fun.Ther was minimal wait.We went to the adult pool and hottub. We enjoyed our morning with a dip and relaxing on loungers in the shade. We had hot and sunny conditions for our cruise. There was no crowd and it was very nice. We went to Royal Palace for lunch. It was quiet and the food was good. It was nice to see the restaurant when it is almost empty. We had a look around the Atrium and took pictures while it was very quiet. DD and my daughter did midship detective agency. The pictures were very cool. I am glad we did not try do do this on the day at sea. We had a walk outside on deck 4. DD and myself went to the spa for some treatments. We had pre dinner drinks in the concierge lounge. We had dinner in Royal Palace. I had lamb and grand marnier souffle for dessert. The service was much better than the first night. The food was excellent. We had a table for three. I think concierge guests have their own table. We went to Pink after dinner. We had tattinger champagne. We had the lounge to ourselves except for a few people taking pictures including a bride and groom. The bartender was very friendly and had a chat with DH. We went to Villians and really enjoyed the show. It was very funny and had a lot of adult humour. My DH really enjoyed it. It was his favourite show.:hippie:

We had room service for breakfast and watched the boat dock from our balcony. We were on port side and could see the pier. We were ready to get off as soon as we could to enjoy castaway cay. We had our picture taken in front of the boat. This is a nice picture with the boat in the background to buy and keep. We watched to the family beach by cookies and got chairs near the trees. We had a lovely morning relaxing and a swim. There was a small wedding on the beach towards heads up bar which was interesting to watch. A nice location but not very private in my opinion. We like the family beach for swimming. We had planned to ride bikes but it was hot so we just stayed where we were. We had a great lunch at cookies. It was less crowded than our last trip on the Wonder two years ago. DD got a picture taken with Minnie with no wait. We went back to the ship around 1 pm.DD and myself had another go on the Aquaduck. We went back to the adult pool and loungers. I enjoyed watching the beach from deck 12 and the boats. We also watched the parasailing from the hottub. I think the glass floors are a waste as you are looking down at the lifeboats. We had a Goofy character meet in the concierge sundeck which was a nice perk .It was really hot on the sundeck and didnt stay too long. We had pre dinner drinks in the lounge and went to palo. It was really beautiful and lovely ocean view. I had sea bass and chocolate souffle. We saw the end of the Mickey Pirate show and walked outside deck 11. We watched the fireworks from deck 12. It seemed very crowded. The fireworks were great and much better than the Wonder 2 years ago. We left after the fireworks for the night:hippie:

:cutie::cutie:We had light breakfast in concierge lounge. We had brunch at PALO. The restaurant was very full compared to dinner the previous night . The food was excellent and buffet style. DD and myself had eggs benedict. They had chocolate strawberries for dessert among other things. We really enjoyed it. The pool deck was very busy and crowded today. I was glad we planned to go to the tropical rainforest in the spa. The heated tile loungers were really nice. We tried out the hot tub on the balcony. there were two. They are quite small but there is a nice breeze. The showers are different. I enjoyed going for one day. Dh amd myself went to PALO for afternoon tea. It was a nice break. There was less than 10 people there which was strange. The scones were nice. DD and myself went to See ya real soon show. It is mainly a 20 minute opportunity to get pictures with the characters. It didnt seem too crowded. We had a pre dinner drink in concierge lounge and dinner at Animators Palate. I liked it more than I thought. The tables were very close together. Crush was great. I had Truffle purseittes, Blackened Cod and Walnut mousse cake . We thought the food was great. We went outside to Currents on deck 13 for a drink. Nice spot to relax and enjoy the view on our last night. We went to Disney Dream. My favourite show especially Mary Poppins section. We packed our bags before bed.I found the boat was rocking a bit on our last night back to port canaveral. :hippie:

We decided to have breakfast in concierge lounge. We noticed a lot of people did the same thing. We got off at 8 and very quickly went through the Terminal and bus back to Disneyworld We were at the Beach Club by 9:30am. We loved our cruise! We are three adults who enjoy Disney. The boat was even better than the pictures we had seen before our cruise. The weather was great. The concierge floor is worth the cost. We loved our 1 bedroom suite. The concierge lounge was great and the staff were very helpful. We like the bigger boat and our next trip wiil be on the FANTASY ! :hippie::cloud9:
