Am thinking of booking BCV studio for an adult trip to WDW in Sept. Four adults in one room, long time relatives, 4-5 nights. Will we be ok? We have stayed 3 adults in Moderate rooms with no problem. How large are the rooms, and are the bathroom sinks separate from the shower toliet area? Any responses would be great.

We are considering this resort because of its location, pool and dining options.

The bathroom sink is seperate from the toilet/tub. BCV studio's consist of 1 queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. When the pull out is in sofa mode- the room feels very roomy... and when it's in bed mode, it's not too bad either.

We have stayed 4 adults in a Tent way smaller then the BCV rooms so yes It can be done. Sink has been answered now just have a great time.

I've done the same at BWV with my sister and BIL. Just be sure to still allow for "alone" time away from each other as too much togetherness can spoil a trip! For my next trip, I've got studios for myself/hubby and one for my sister/hubby as my hubby & I have learned we really do enjoy our privacy(:rolleyes1 ), plus there's always someone who snores at nite!!!

Here's the layout of a BCV Studio Room:

I did it! After trying to make reservations thru Disney, I booked the trip on Expedia. I really can't believe I will be staying here. Super excited. Now I will have to read all the TR and posts about BCV. We will be there Sept 19th for 5 nights, so hopefully we will be able to fully enjoy all the activities the resort has to offer. Stormalong bay here we come.

Thank you so much for all the positive replies, any other information is welcome.

The sleeper sofa in a studio is only double sized and the bed is a queen sized bed.

Personally, though, I wouldn't do four adults in a studio. Way to crowded for me. We had four in a one bedroom (actually three adults and one kid (10 yrs old) and we were crowded. We had tried to get a two bedroom, went on the waitlist and it never came through. We had a good time, but more space would have been greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't do it either!! The sleep sofa is only a double - way too small for 2 adults now a days. There is no room to get away from each other. The bathroom is relatively small. You need to be really good friend who enjoy immersion togetherness.
We (DH, D Adult S and I) do a one bedroom. This gives us some "private space" as DH and I will go into the bedroom at night and DS has the living area to relax in. Even then, a 2 bedroom would be perfect. but we can't afford that.

Can you do it? Yes,.....but why would you want to? Four adults in a studio would be uncomfortable for me...but if you feel comfortable, that is what is important.

Happy Planning!

I'd say that one couple will be quite comfortable in the queen size bed, however, the other couple notta so much. I think you should go out and get an aerobed as you can put a twin size or maybe even a double in the area next to the bathroom, although try not to step on them on the way to the potty at 3AM. I really think an aerobed is the way to go for the 4th person as two in that pullout might be uncomfortable. Good Luck!

We stayed at BCV with 2 adults and 2 teenage girls (14,16), with the sofa bed pulled out, it was very tight. Plus the sofa bed isn't very comfy for an adult or teenager. But you can't beat the location. Studios also have microwaves and frig which are a very nice perk.

Have you considered renting DVC points instead of booking your room directly? I don't know what discounts you may have qualified for; but, rack rates for your dates total $1,777 for the one room. To stay in the same room takes 80 DVC points. Points are renting on the rent/trade board for $10-$12 each. You could actually get two studios for $1,600 - $1,920! I'm just passing this along as a possibility.

I'm not trying to rent any -- I never have enough points for my own use much less to consider renting! I'm even staying at POP in August to conserve points.

Either way you'll love BCV! Enjoy!

If a regular room at the YC/BC is available, I would switch to that, You'll have two queen beds and two sinks. You could also request a room with a daybed, this way you'll have a sofa to sit on. It should be much more comfy.:)

Thank you for all the replies. As mentioned I did book the room. I have thought about bringing an aerobed to make sleeping more comfortable. I really booked this room because of location and price. Really a great rate on expedia/summer special. Because it is a DVC there is no charge for the extra adults. If we stayed at BC resort then there would be. I had been trying to book two rooms at POR or POFQ on summer special but no rooms were available.:sad2:

We'll see, I have been known to change plans all the time. I am thinking that because of it's location we will rarely be in the room. We are usually so exhausted at night that it should not be a problem sleeping. lol. BTW if I was on this vacation with my DH I would not share a room with another couple, but our four sister/sister in law group should be fine.;) We stayed 3 to a room at POR last Oct and were not cramped at all. I am hoping that there is a little more room at BCV. Is it ideal, no; but I will still be at WDW..............
