found the perfect stroller ?????

I don't have the Daytripper yet . I just ordered it online at ComfortLiving for 167.00 including free shipping this morning and I just got my confirmation that it has been shipped already. I have the Maclaren Techno which my almost 3 year old uses and it fits him great. He weighs 37lbs and is 41 inches tall. I tried it with my 4.5 year old who weighs 46lbs. and is 45 inches tall and it fits him as well even with the recline. I know the weight limit on Maclarens is 40lbs. but it doesn't seem to be straining at all and I won't be using the basket underneath for anything so it doesn't get too heavy. So my plan is to use the Techno for my 4.5 year old and the Daytripper for my almost 3 year old. Sha-lyn had a good idea about securing the stroller. This his been my biggest worry about bringing two pretty expensive strollers. I'm assuming I will like the Daytripper because of how much I LOVE my Techno. This is my 5th stroller and I can't believe how much money I wasted on some of the others that I have purchased.

I forgot to answer your footrest question. I can't answer on the Daytripper but I think all the Maclarens are about the same size. The footrest on my Techno seems fine. I've never had a problem with it.
