Found Pretzel Bread/Cheese like Le Cellier at Applebees!

Yumm. Can't wait to go to Applebee's now. Maybe I can even squeeze it in before our trip next week then skip Le Celliar. The only reason we are going is because DS insists on it to get cheese soup and pretzel bread.

TGI Friday's and Smokey Bones have these too. The ones at Smokey Bones are my favorite, if you have one in your area. It's a BBQ chain.

Our AMC theater has a dine in section (dinner with your movie). They serve yummy pretzel bread as one of their appetizers and as a side to some of their salads.

Chili's has them too. They are a softer pretzel, maybe doughy. IMO. But really good.

Yummy! Red Robin has pretzel bites in a beer cheese sauce that is super yummy too!

We got those a couple nights ago. Yum yum yum...plus I just really love Red Robin...

Loved Red Robin the first few times we went. But the last time in early Nov. It was not great. We were seated in a booth and I had to wipe my seat off before sitting. Gross! Then our food came and we didn't even have any utensils or napkins. We had to ask for them. Really!! The table next to us had a menu and lots of food on the floor after the previous family (with a small child) left. And another group was seated!! Yuck! Noone came to see if we needed anything or if our food was ok. And we were never even asked if we wanted more drinks! Which saved me about $30. Lol. We will try it again but this time was aweful!
We didn't try the pretzels but when we do go back they are a must!!

We had these a couple of weeks ago at our local Applebee's. They were good, but nowhere near as good as Le Cellier IMO. They really just left me craving the "real thing".

Why go out ? Make your own pretzel bread at home. We were planning a family Disney trip a couple years back and had a Planning Party where everyone had to bring a dish based on one of their favorite Disney foods. I made Pretzel Bread with a beer cheese fondue and used this recipe I found online: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1292959

It's totally the same taste, and as far as bread baking goes, it's about the most impossible to mess up recipe I've ever come across. Just shape the dough into breadsticks before you dunk them for the Le Celier experience.

love the Pretzels at Le Cellier, my favorite!! Can't wait to try them at Applebees!! Thanks for the tip!
